It shredded about 4 a.m. on I 94 about 150 miles west of Fargo, ND on the fifth day of the 7 day Butt Lite Rally. Without getting into too many details, I was very lucky to have gotten the bike stopped without having been spit off. Really sucked. I had picked up a nail somewhere around Aladdin, Wy and it had been plugged. Inflated to 39 psi, checked it twice in the next 300 miles, and it was holding steady at 42 psi (normal growth when it heated up). About 50 miles after I last checked the inflation, the tire just went to pieces. No wallowing or any other signs of under inflation. The entire right side of the tire separated, like someone took a band saw to it, about an inch above the rim. Picutes of the tire can be seen at the following web site. WWW.TEAMSTRANGE.COM When yo get into the site, go to "Butt Lite Information." From there go to "photo album" and then to "checkpoint three." there are three pictures of the tire taken as my bike was being hauled into the the rally checkpoint at Ma's Cycle in Fargo. I had brief exchanges with Bridgestone, and they flatly insist that I ran the tire under inflated, even though they have not seen it. Other than that, I loved the tire, as long as it was sort of round and in one piece.
