The "Official" Little Buffy website is now up and running at: http://www.angelfire.com/ca/cyberpaws/lilbuffy.html It is a text site at the moment (and all mark-up tags done by hand no less, Giles would be proud! well, maybe not), though I will add graphics if I can find any that seem to fit (but hey, it loads *really* quickly as it is). Right now it is based on the initial postings that I sent out on the topic, but I am open to incorporating other people's stuff who want to send it to me. I didn't just want to rifle through the lists and pages that have since incorporated Little Buffy stuff looking for new items, without knowing who wrote them or how they felt about them being "borrowed". There is also a *new* section, "Little Buffy's Childhood Books," which has not been previously posted. Check it out! Plus, the Rudolph song is funnier! Thanks to the loyal fans of Little Buffy who have incorporated her into their lists and websites, most especially who has, without even being coerced, become the "Keeper of the Little Buffy List." I am amenable to the idea of people "keeping" items of Little Buffy's, for purely fun purposes. If you email me, I can post them to the page in a special section. Please don't request anything that belongs to "big" Buffy, or that has been shown on the program. Such "real" items should go through the normal keeper list handlers. Little Buffy items should solely from your imagination as Little Buffy is a purely hypothetical (fanfic type) character. The items should also be appropriate to a young girl. If more than one person conjures up and requests the same item, I will add each person's name behind it (probably in order of request). Enjoy the Page! He definitely would make the ultimate villain for a few eps until he either dies or gets it back, but as an Angel fanactic I would rather him be as he is and see his deadliness facing a new Master. You know, I hate to say this since I love the Angel-Buffy connection but I can see very clearly a spinoff of Buffy ---Angel and his own TV show. Why would he rip someone's head off if he could send a plague of rats on the town . >> Since I was pretty much the one that brought this up. It's simple enough to me. Not all Druids have magical powers, and alot of times it has to brought through with rituals and chants and sacrifices (mostly animal kind) and stuff. Usually the Druids work together as an order--thus the workings of their power could only come across if they were together not solitairy...honestly I can't think of an instance where one Druid could do all those magical stuff on his own. Angel could have lost his powers as a Druid when he became a vampire or he was a soulless, vicious vampire for a hundred years with no need of powers other than that of a vampire and he lost touch with his Druidic powers. And like I said, not all Druids have magical powers--some are like monks just collecting books, knowledge and lore. Knowledge is power---I believe the druids were among the first of human kind to recognize this. Maybe Joss will expand on the tattoo-->Ireland origin to a Druidic past. This is all hypothetical and Joss is the main head honcho that says exactly what Angel is and is not. Diane, Thats ok i think you would like it if you understand a few items. 1) I too find Buffy to be a tragic character. She is a 16 year old who just wants too lead a normal life and yet she has responsibilities that no adult would ever want. Not to mention the fact that her responsibilies involve saving the world, her friends and not get killed herself. The line in which she said she was just 16 and did not want to die told so much about the character. 2) Master dead? I don't think so :) Remember he did not turn to ashes. 3) Rushed ok i think Whedon and the staff might have written this episode thinking that would be the series finale. But i think they know what they are doing. 4) SMG really is a great actress she has true potential to be a great theatrical actress. I used to watch her on All My Children and she played Erika Kane's daughter and she was fantastic. I want to state that if she goes into movies she will be have at least one oscar nomination by the age of 30 with an oscar by the time she is 40. Her versatility is amazing. Diane stick with the show. Just remember the above points and most importantly Buffy is a sad character and SMG is playing her perfectly. The rubber demon coming out of the ground was kinda hokey, but the interaction between the characters made up for it. It could have used another hour to get Ms. Calander more involved in the story. I would have liked to see the conversation between Willow and Xander(when Willow called). I also would have liked to see Angel more of an integral part of the story, it seemed as if he was just the muscle in the end. Maybe i'm just being picky, but I think the finale couldve been made into a full length movie if done right. Just a thought. I think he did drop in the water thinking she'd drown - it *was* haphazard, but I think he was drunk on his newly gained power, and the excitement of *finally* going above ground and claiming "his" world. > has gone through *part* of a vampiric conversion, missing only > the other part of drinking his blood. Then she pulls herself > together, aware she wasn't fully converted, and goes to kick butt. > But she's stronger now and has an awareness of him I think you're right on track here. I think we witnessed a unique transference of power - the Master drew power from Buffy's blood; and Buffy drew considerable power from her interaction with the Master. That's why, imho, she is so much stronger when she's revived. Gina ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ justgee@navix.net a usual suspect <*> Woo hoo? And I've also played that same part of the tape over and over. And I don't see how anyone can be absolutely sure that the above line was said by Buffy, just by watching the tape. It's a jumble of quickly-said, far-away lines. But it's not really a major point. The horse is now nothing but a bleached skeleton. My hand has rope burns from the whip. Just as much as any other human and as you can see on any news report, human nature ain't always pretty. Obviously Angel has a little more experience in controlling his emotions. How old is he anyway? Anyhow, I still don't think you want to be on Angel's bad side. Think about it, besides from the fact that he's darn handsome, how much do we really know about him............ After Xander gives Buffy CPR, Buffy suddenly wakes up. Now I don't know if I'm just seeing things, but the way I saw it, there was a special effect put in at that point. There was some sort of zoom, or something just as she opened her eyes and gasped. It reminded me of Interview w/ a Vampire when Louis wakes up a vampire. I'm wondering if this is the point that she gains any extra power. Something to do with coming back from 'the dead' and being a slayer and everything. Any thoughts? Come on! Angel is 'only' 240 years old - that puts him in the 18th century, and literacy while not as wide spread as today, was certainly not a great rarity then, depending upon one's socio/economic class. Isn't Angel Irish? We really don't have much info about his family background, but if he came from the upper class, he would certainly have been literate in both english and latin. In a lot of respects, he might have gotten a better education than many of us today!
