I saw ET tonight. They did show both movies in their preview of upcoming new movies and rising stars, but they neglected SMG completely. I tried to access the ET page to send an email expressing my outrage, but was having difficulty loading the page. if anyone has ET's email address and would pass it along, I would appreciate it!

I was like, no way, it's Charisma! But I've seen it a couple of times since, and I think the girl in the commercial isn't as pretty, maybe a little fuller in the face. I think they go more for the "girl next door" look in those commercials. You're right, though, it could be her, given the right lighting and such. I had the same feeling when I saw a promo for a Baywatch episode that did turn out to have her in it. Chris Castro and I just got back from WB-Day at Great America on our BABS (Bay Area Buffy Society) "field trip." Charisma Carpenter was the featured guest. Dawn from BABS also met us at the park. Charisma missed her plane, so she was two hours late. We were thus subjected to two hours of the WB people teaching kids to do the Dubba dance (neither of us will ever get that song out of our heads again!). During the wait, however, one employee mistakenly opened a box of posters early so we secured ours way in advance (they ran out just before I got to them at ComicCon; so I was eager to not get burned again!). And we managed to get our pictures taken with the WB frog who was participating loosely in the Dubba dancing. Charisma finally showed up and began signing away. The dedicated Buffy group was much smaller than at ComicCon. But there were lots of posters (unfortunately only one per person). So eventually even random passerby's started getting in line to get a poster, an autograph, and a smile from Charisma. She was wearing sunglasses at first and I thought "Oh no, just like Nick, that won't make for good pictures!" But she took them off soon enough, allowing some decent photo ops. The guys in our little group couldn't take their eyes off of her. I noticed that her arms are really toned. She evidently works out pretty seriously (that Raider cheerleading background?). That's something not played up much in the character of Cordelia. She was polite and gracious, but not garrulous (none of Joss's or Nick's looseness and wisecracking). That wasn't surprising considering it was outdoors and the environment was less controlled and more chaotic than at ComicCon. Plus, she arrived in a frazzle straight from the airport. In real life, she looked to me more like an adult (closer to her true mid-twenties age) than she does as Cordelia. I felt the same of Nick at ComicCon. So is it good acting, makeup, or lighting that allows them to pull off playing high school kids so well? If I take the pictures to my normal lab, they will be posted by Tuesday night. If I get impatient and take them to a quickie place, they might be up by tomorrow night. That's about it. It was fun! So I took my Buffy poster and ordered a T-shirt with only the lettering of the words "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." I waited 3 hours for it to be done and I had to leave my poster there so they could get it right. Charisma still wasn't there so I didn't have it signed yet. I went back to the WB thing and Charima was there. I had her sign a WB Kids club T shirt and a pic that they had there of the whole cast. I went to watch the people do the Dubba Dance and I sang along everytime they played it. =) I went to go check on the t shirt I wanted done and it still wasn't dome so I went back and there was more posters. So I got another one thinking when my T shirt is done I would give the one that isn't signed. Well, I asked her if she knew Nick's age and suprisingly she didn't know. I hope she will survive. They don't really mention her as much. Neve is the lead of course but maybe Sarah will survive. Wes Craven did say "I want her in every single movie of mines" or something like that. so he must like her. Because she doesn't complain(what a great actress!) and goes out and shoot whenever they call for it. So maybe she will be in part 3. But probably Neve will not die and survive and be in part 3.There is a person who we would never suspect be in it... I can't believe this myself!!!!! How come none of the other stars on BtVS have movies coming out. Seems like only Sarah for now have gotten up there. Hopefully the other stars will be in it!!!!!!! I would love to see David Boreanaz in a movie. Maybe an action movie!!! Flex those muscles!!!Hee hee =). Well we just gotta sit here and wait impatiently till both movies come out. I'm guessing everyone here will see it. I just wish I could go to the movie premiere. Hey listen to those radio stations. They are always giving out tickets, if lucky enough we win!!! if i do win i'll be glad to take someone here from the list!!!! If any of this information is known to be incorrect, please let me know. But Like I said, I found it all from magazines or other reputable places. t h e s e q u e l t o s c r e a m Neve Campbell is in the lead she plays Sydney. The movie takes place 2 years after the original. She is in theater at college, or something like that, and the guy from the first movie (who was obsessed with scary movies) I think his name was Randy, he is a film student a t the same college. (So they get to sit in class and debate wether sequels are bulls--t or not)<---(i read that in a magazine) Gale (the reporter) wrote a book called "Stab" based on what happened in the first movie, and in "the Sequel to Scream" that book has just been made in to a movie with tory spelling playing Sydney, a joke from the first movie. Dewy is a security guard at the college. Jerry O'Connal plays Sydney's boyfriend. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays either Sydney's roommate, or her best friend. (i think she plays roommate) And I think her name is Helen. Jada Pinket gets killed of in the opening, and Cotton Weary is out of jail Neve Campbell says in a interview with ET that "There's definatly still the humor, and there's definitly still the scary stuff, and it's probably a litlle scarier than the first one. And that's all I know :O} girljen *keeper of Xander's Toga* *keeper of Angel's statue* girljen@juno.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Aug 1997 19:13:09 EDT From: girljen@juno.com (Jennifer L.
