The subject matter is more mature, the violence is much more realistic (Buffy doesn't have sparks flying off of her when she's injured), and the dialogue is more intelligent. I do see some similarities between MMPR and BtVS, (especially the scene in "Angel" when the Master has his temper tantrum over losing Darla), but BtVS is, overall, the superior show. Being a fanatical fan of two children's shows (Saban Spliced Sentai, AKA Power Rangers, VR Troopers, etc., and Transformers Classic and BW), I definitely don't think that BtVS is intended for children. Here's a hint-- find a 30-something who liked the old Godzilla movies as a kid (one of the local stations continually re-ran them on Saturday afternoons when I was 6-9 yrs old), and s/he will *love* Buffy. They have the same not-taking-themselves-seriously flavor to them (but Buffy generally has better plots! ) Diane E # "Hydrogen. She would be destroying her relationship with Willow (If someone ever did that to me I could never forgive them. Believe me I know from experience.). And Buffy and Xander would more or less inevitably break up, and maybe not on good terms. She would end up losing the only two friends she had. Thats just what I think. Annie P.S.
