I checked them out, and they're slick, the front has Angel holding Buffy, with the text "Get home before dark." If anyone knows e-mail me. 1) In the Season Premere of Buffy, Cordelia is kiddnapped while Buffy is walking away. It is right behind her, so why did she not sense the vampires behind her, when she has that abilty to sense when vampires are near? 2) In the Grand Finale of Buffy, she dies and is brought bach to life by Xander. But is she really alive or is she dead- perhaps like a vampire because when she faces the Vampire Master she says something like, "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty."? Another question on this episode- the second time she is put in a trace by the Vampire Master is she really in the trance or did she fake it allowing her to react and attack the Master so quickly and how does she avoid it, to attack the Master? Anyone? I liked it. One thing I noticed about this and the first episode is that IMO the fight scenes have gotten *much* better. During first season I thought they lacked energy and a certain speed. They've improved significantly this season. I'm liking Cordelia more and more. Yes, she's frivolous and self-centered, but I think she's learning. Her "Is something wrong?" to Chris was telling, IMO. While Buffy and the Slayerette's indifference and coldness is sort of understandable, I do hope it doesn't persist too much longer. I found I didn't particularly like it--it was just rude and I hope Joss and company get past that. I'm not saying that Cordelia is perfect, but they're coming off as worse than her, IMO. I thought Xander and Willow were particularly cold to Cordelia at the end. Lots of cannibalism jokes--it seems like cannibalism is showing up everywhere these days. Must be a trend. The tan windbreaker on Angel looked *awful*. I wonder if he's dressing to try and fit into Buffy's life a little better. I know they're trying to play up the romance angle, but I dont like the way he's suddenly popping up everywhere for no reason..."I saw the fire...I thought you'd be here..." Puh-leeze! I thought the character was much more interesting when he was mysterious, and a bit morally ambiguous. He always had a little bit of an attitude and you got the feeling that despite outward appearances, his feral vampire nature was boiling just below the facade and could surface at any moment. It added an element of danger to his relationship with Buffy. Unfortunately, all that seems to be gone. He's dressing in light colors and pulling Cordelia out of trash bins and becoming generally warm and fuzzy. There's no more edge. IT DOESN'T WORK. It rings false, IMHO. Anyway, just my thoughts! I thought it was an interesting episode, with an eclectic mix of emotions - - the obvious horror and romance, but also the unexpected sadness and pathos of the high school hero whose temporary greatness is forever lost. Reminded me of my high school football All County linemate who went back to the school the year after he graduated and watched practice from a nearby hill. I had a hard time feeling that Daryl was some horrible psycho, but then again he wanted to mess with the fabulous Cordelia, so I'm glad he got it! Too bad they couldn't play Springsteen's "Glory Days" at some point. This has to be one of the very few times in the entire series - past and future - where somebody kicks Buffy's backside and has her completely at his mercy. (The Master in Prophecy Girl didn't outfight her.) It's also probably the only episode so far where the Hellmouth had absolutely nothing to do with the plot. Hmmmmmm..... Xander seems so completely over Buffy. Anyone still see it differently? I didn't completely buy Buffy's explanation to Angel that the infamous dance was solely for Angel's benefit. Seemed a little too convenient for Buffy to claim that, under the circumstances. I do, though, SO hope that that is the last we hear of it. I know I've heard enough! In our case, we have only 7-hours of allotted prime-time programming. 3 on Sunday, 2 on Monday and 2 on Wednesday. Maybe because of the dance but I doubt it. Willow is intelligent enough to see through it. Besides, Xander did that whole little unattainable speech in front of Willow, rather jerky I thought. It was pretty cool. S P O I L E R S Okay, now that that's out of the way. I really did like this episode. I thought the beginning was pretty funny with Buffy and Angel arguing like that. I love how he was acting totally macho and saying how he wasn't jealous of Xander. I thought it was so funny. I too thought that Willow had somewhat of a small thing for Chris. The way she was looking at him I thought showed that. She should find someone. Even if it isn't Chris. She needs someone that will notice her. I loved Giles in this episode. He was acting just like a teenage boy about to ask a girl out on a date. It was so cute! And then in the hallway when Miss Calendar (who's name we now know is Jenny, finally) basically took care of the whole asking part with out realizing it. I also loved it during the game when Jenny said that it was a date and his reaction. And then again at the end when she said a second date. I was laughing so hard. And I can't leave out Xander (personally my favorite character in the show). I'd have to say that he is even funnier this season. All his wise cracks and jokes were at just the right times and they were worded just right. I couldn't stop laughing. My favorite: "You have to go? Aww, too bad. Keep in touch. Bye, bye." I laughed so hard at that point, my mom looked at me funny. And then at the end when he totally dissed Corelia, I was laughing so hard I couldn't hear Willow's next line. I also can't forget to say how hot he is. Oh my God! I love his look this season. I mean sure he was way hot last year, but with his new hair cut, he looks older and more mature. And his cloths look so stylin' (okay, cheezy word but it was the only thing I could think of). I love his look this year. I don't see how any girl couldn't keep their eyes off of him.
