What I can tell you that i have heard through the "rumormill" is this: (yes, this is RUMOR only). - - Angel returns via a magic spell that involves the ring he gave Buffy (He "hinted" about this in a recent AOL interview last week) - - Spike & Dru are in NYC & for whatever reason, have to go back to Sunndale. - - The Mayor & Snyder are connected to Hellmuth (good demons???). - - Buffy does return to Sunnydale (Duh, we all knew this would happen). - - Don't ask what part the mother will now play.....nobody has touched upon that one yet. There is a interesting website with "spoilers" on them & alot of other stuff. One of the better sites I have seen. Check out the Spoilers page & go to the message boards. ALSO.....due to the fact Canadians & people in Australia get to see the shows before the United States does, this was a GREAT way to find out what was going to happen before seeing the show (for those who can't wait). (Ok, so you didn't but I'll tell you anyway) Well, Becoming 2 and Passion I feel are the strongest episodes from this season. Rarely has a television show made me cry, but these two episodes do it every time (Passion still makes me cry, and I have seen it about 10 times!) To me, that is one of the strongest emotional reaction a show could produce. Lots of shows make me laugh, that isn't too hard to to, but tears, well, that takes some work. I think the climaxes of both of these epsodes were incredible. The moment in Passion at which Giles see Jenny's body on his bed, combining the visual image of the glass breaking with the strength and power of climax of the song is astounding. I would have to vote for that scene as the single most powerful of the entire series to date. Someone on the list awhile back commented that while Suprise was an excellent episode, they were blown away by Innocence. I tend to agree with this. The second part to this season's two two-parters was by far superior to the first. Suprise and Becoming 1 were just a warm-up for what was to follow. It was the conclusion to the threads introduced in these first parts which really made this season so powerful. I added BBB to my list in spite of what I mentioned above, that humor was not as difficult an undertaking as drama. I think that this episode, in the context of post-Innocence trauma, was just what we all needed. Especially for Valentine's Day, which, after Angel's change, could have been quite a painful thing to behold. This episode contained some of my favorite funny moments from this season, including Xander's slow-mo walk down the hall, and the scene with Dru and Xander- "Don't fret, kitten, mummy's here..." Ok,ok, enough for me :) VampGirl Keeper of Willow's interrogation techniques, Dru's "Angel always knows what speaks to a girl's heart," Xander's "Oh yea, baby, its snake-o-licious in here," and adoptive mother to Fishman Gage Oh, btw, does anybody know what's the deal with the Xander keeper's site? I requested something a while back, but it doeesn't appear that there have been any updates to the site in a while. - - ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 May 1998 16:49:30 PDT From: "Sara Barton" Subject: BUFFY: Seinfeld Hey!
