It took me a while to find them but for those who are interested the first is from April '98, while the second was earlier this month...... Exclusive Buffy Toys by Chris Galdieri Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans starved for merchandising based on the hit WB series will be pleased to know that Exclusive Toy Products has confirmed reports that it will release a line of Buffy figures later this year. A 12-inch fashion doll of Buffy herself will be available at FAO Schwartz, while a line of 9-inch action figures will be available through Diamond Comic Distributors. The lineup for the 9-inch line is tentatively set to include Buffy, Giles, and Angel; however, this lineup is subject to change as the line is developed. More from Moore Moore Action Collectibles has announced that it will make figures of Michael Turner's new character FATHOM as well as longtime horror comic star VAMPIRELLA. Its BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER line will be released in Spring of 1999 and its DARKCHYLDE is set for Winter '99 release. Moore Action Collectibles is the action-figure arm of Moore Creations, the sculpture studio founded by Clayburn Moore. - ----------------------------------- Evan 'Azure' Harris azure99@ozemail.com.au Buffy: It's so weird... Well, it's time for the xmission shirts again . . . The following ad and order form is for custom-made shirts specifically for the members of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer xmission mailing list. They are in no way connected to the official merchandising of the WB (although Joss is aware of them) and they are purely a fannish endeavor. Prices posted are to cover the cost of shipping, artwork and screen printing fees. Any profit that is made (yeah, right ;-) from the production of these shirts will be donated to the Anthony Stewart Head Fan Club. And now - on to the show. All shirts will be black 100% cotton. The front design on the shirts will be the same as it has been in the past - the artistic rendition of the words "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" surrounded by fangs with the words "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Xmission Mailing List" and "buffy@xmission.com" will appear on the front. For a look at the graphic, please go to http://www.unc.edu/~ksefcik/buffy.html .
