(http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Studio/5720/season3.jpg) I was looking on the Enquirer site, but they don't seem to have it there. anyways, I'm just coming out of deep lurking to say, THANK GOD sarah put some weight back on. all through season two i just kept looking at buffy with her clothes hanging off her like a stick...and I kept thinking, where's the rest of her??!! but it looks like now she's back. (yay!) obBuffy: we all know that deep in Buffy's heart, she is reluctant to be a slayer. I'm very curious to find out, now that she has run off, whether she is still ambivalent when she comes back. If she comes back more of an army General, like Xena, then that's a sign that she's accepting more responsibility. But if she stays more like a draftee who's been put in charge of a platoon, we'll know we're in for more ambivalence. I guess one more year of ambivalence could work, but soon she has to grow a little more...there's more to fighting evil than putting out vampfires, so to speak, and I want to see what Buffy's like when she gets to that level. - --cory - - ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 Sep 1998 22:45:21 EDT From: JHaubr3805@aol.com Subject: BUFFY: TV Divas Just saw an article in my local paper about E!Onlines picks for top TV Divas. Just got Child of the Hunt at B. Dalton's. Don't know if I need spoiler space to discuss the packaging of the novel, but just in case... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > The book looks great! It's packaged completely differently fom the other novels. I suspect Pocket Books wants to break away from the "Young Adult" format of the earlier books. Blooded was published as an Adult by Pocket rather than as a YA by their Archway imprint but it looked exactly the same, only larger, and was often placed in the YA section. COTH uses a variation of the logo we see during commercials. Another variation{more curved) is being used by the comics. A picture of SMG is facing front while a painting of a demon faces sideways. In the upper righthand corner, a large moon provides backlight as several figures(the Scooby gang?) run through the cemetary. At 324 pages, this looks like the biggest and, hopefully, most complex Buffy novel ever.
