He understands that teenagers will be teenagers. They WILL screw up, but Cordelia and Xander offer crucial friendship for Buffy. Giles understands this and respects them for their efforts to make Buffy's life normal. I am not saying that Xander is his favorite person in the world, but I don't believe that Giles thinks Xander is a completely irresponsible joke. He had a right to get angry with Xander. If all that changed was the fangs growing longer, I think a lot of people would not feel as threatened by them and thus the whole point of a slayer would be harder to justify. Why kill the vampires? They're just misunderstood, not really monsters. LoL. Besides, remember Vampires are Demons. No doubt when they call upon their supernatural powers they have to tap into that Demonic power in themselves, and Joss probably wanted us to realize that. No, I'm quite happy with the way the vampires are potrayed. For one thing, Charisma Carpenter said in FIT magazine that this is her last season on Buffy because she is signed to do the Angel show next season. She mentioned that she hangs out with Sarah and Alyson a lot more because they won't be on the set next season. I really don't think Charisma would make this up and participate in an elaborate lie. I really can't stand rumors. Just my two cents worth....
