I just went on vacation and had 18 hours to think about it (both ways). I plan on having Angelus investigate the bunch at Curious Goods and then have that coin that killed Micki bring back Dru and Spike. And then they could run crazy with all those cursed items. Should be fun! The body count will indeed be higher. Vampires with cursed items means no remorse or compunctions about killing. I'm taping the Friday the 13th marathon on the Sci-Fi Channel. Unfortunately they're only showing 12 of the 72 episodes. And I don't think they run them at 2 a.m. anymore. I really need to see these eps so that I can do the series justice. My memory from several years ago isn't very good. I had asked someone if they remembered seeing anything like a Friday the 13th crossover. That no one had done it was too good to be true. I'm having so much fun with this. Ingrid really helped me with her editing too. Yes, you can forward the story to the newsgroup (as is, of course). I'll have to check the newsgroup out. Special Thanks to Mel my proofreader & Lorene My Beta Reader Feedback needed so that I know if I should finsh part 2 E-Mail (LJEFFERS@HIGHLAND.NET Part 1 Angel Restored (The Deal) Spike & Dru had just returned to the Hellmouth when he noticed that something was different. "Spike it's gone all the power is gone just like me dollies." "What are you talking about lov-" Spike's chair is grabed from behind before he can finish his question. And a familiar face leans down and whispers in his ear. "Why Spikie, what she's trying to say is that there is now a new master in town who has succeeded where all others have failed, one who has taken the power of the Hellmouth for himself." As Spike turns around he is aghast in surprise at what he sees. "You!" "Yes me, now what's the expression O yes, lets make a deal." "Why should I make a deal with you when you'll probably betray us to the Slayer?" Just as Spike finishes his last words, the dark figure lifts his hand and from it comes a dark light which engulfs Spike lifting him from his chair and throwing him half-way across the dark chamber. "IF YOU EVER MENTION HER AGAIN, I WILL SHOW YOU THAT THERE ARE WORSE FATES THEN DEATH!" "Ok, you proved your point so what's your deal, and what's in it for me?" "Well, lets see you help me by capturing angel." "Capture Angel! Why what are you going to do with him.?" "Well, since you ask so nicely I'll tell you. I'm going to rip his dark soul and powers from him so I need someone to receive them, and I thought of you Spike. And if your very evil, I may just restore Dru to her full power." "When do you need him, Master?" "Tomorrow night, when the moon is in the house of Koral, O and Spike, if I find out that you have betrayed me. I will make sure that the pain you endure will make you beg for the Slayer to kill you." Part 2 Angel Restored (The Spell) Angel enters the chamber to see Spike kissing Dru. "Oh Spike, how about sharing?" "Angulus, just the person I want to see, how would you like to be an actor." "What are you talking about Spike?" "Well, Just that I have a plan to destroy the Slayer once and for all, and make her suffer." "Oh, I'm very interested, and I've always wanted to play to a captive house, what did you have in mind?" "Well, first; you get in this cage, then the Slayer happens to hear that somehow you've regained your humanity; then, when she comes to save you, well even you can figure out the rest." As Angulus enters the cage the door is slammed shut and locked, Angulus grabs the bars, and his hands start to burn, his screams fill the night. Then a figure moves from the shadows and stands before him. "Well, look what the bat flew in." The dark figure motions for Spike to stand next to the cage." With Spike standing next to the cage that is holding Angulus the figure waves his hands and the dark power of the Hellmouth pours forth surrounding both Angulus and Spike. When it clears Spike stands taller and his face reflects the evil of two deamons. "Oh Angulus! I should think you. I feel like a god; Now what do we do with the trash Master? "Feel free to have fun but don't kill him yet!" Using a pair of gloves Spike opens the cage and grabs angel. Hurling him across the room when he hits the wall the sound of bones breaking can be heard. Spike moves with a speed that has never been seen in any other vampire. He grabs Angel again and Prepears to throw him once again across the room when Dru Grabs his shoulder. "I want to play with daddy." She grabs Angel using her new found strength and breaks both his legs. "Oh no, dollies broke!" "Enough! Now the fun begins bring him and follow me." With that the two vampires grab the battered and bruised Angel and follow the dark one. Soon they are outside of Buffy's house when the figure grabs Angel from Spike using one hand, holds him to the door, and using the other drives a wooden stake through his shoulder. The pain is so intense that Angel passes out. "Oh!" Says Spike I would really like to see her face when she comes home to this." "Don't worry Spike, I'll tell you everything." Part 3 Angel Restored (Discovery) Buffy comes home to find Angel impaled to her door. She grabs the stake and starts to pull it from him when she notices that the sun is coming up and the places where it's touching Angel are not burning she runs into the house and dials 911. Within a matter of moments an ambulance arrives, they carefully remove the stake and dress the wound, then they put him on a stretcher and start to the ambulance, one of them asked Buffy if she knows the man. "Yes!" she replies "He's my boyfriend." "Ok! were taking him to the hospital, do you want to ride in with us?" "Yes!" Later at the Hospital Buffy calls Giles and tells him what happened. He tells her that he'll stop and get Willow & Xander and they be there as soon as they can. As the doctor comes out of the O/R Buffy corners him to ask how Angel is. "Miss Summers, he has had both arms & legs broke, multiple cuts & abrasions and we've had to give him a lot of blood to replace what he lost from the shoulder wound, but he's going to be fine. He just needs a lot of rest. You can go see him now, but, no more then 15 minutes. You can come back tomorrow." As Buffy starts toward the room Giles, Willow & Xander met her and they all enter the room. "Giles! he's human" says Buffy "I saw the sun hit him and nothing happened." Angel starts to wake up. The first sight he sees is Buffy, and he says. "I've died and gone to heaven because I'm looking into the face of an angel." Buffy grabs him and starts to cry." "Oh god! Angel I love your so much it hurts, It's good to have you back." "Yes" says Giles "very good, but how did this happen?" "I don't know! The last thing I remember was Spike putting me in a cage, and a figure coming out of the shadows and waing his hands at both me and Spike, then, pain as if, Oh god! He ripped the deamon from me and added it to Spikes" "I've heard of this happening" Said Giles "But it's said that only a Deamon Wizard can do it. An if there's one here, than this is just the start but, I wonder what would make him change you back into a human?" "Looks like it would keep Buffy busy trying to take care of vamp boy here while he raises an army." said Xander That night in the chamber of the Master, laugher can be heard as the evil figure tells Spike what happened at the hospital. "Then she says oh Angel I love you so much. It was all I could do not to rip her heart out then and there. But soon the Slayer will see what the price is for her love as I destroy her friends and family, one by one, till she is the only one left. Then I will make her watch as her precious Angel is ripped to pieces. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" (Ingrid29@juno.com) *********************** "Footsteps," by Ingrid Part Four *********************** The chill wind whipped across the ground, bending and breaking the stems of withering flowers. Winter was coming. Willow held his jacket tightly around her as she pressed ahead of him. The sky twinkled down on her. She stood on the hill, cheeks flushed with the cold, her long auburn curls trailing behind her. The dress was white again- her favorite. Her silhouette was breathtaking against the moon, or would have been, had he any breath, he thought. Dru’s apparition had begun to haunt him less and less. He was beginning to forget what she looked like in those dresses. They were Willow’s. They had always been Willow’s. His mind drifted back to minutes before when she’d brushed his shoulder. His blush wouldn’t have been noticeable in the dark anyway, but he’d looked away shyly for convention’s sake. She stood up on the still green hill and craned her neck towards the sky. "It’s beautiful," she shouted down to him. Still exploring the constellations, she continued to watch the sky as she spoke to him. "I hadn’t realized how much I’d missed it," she mused, and then came back to her senses. "Why are you waiting down there? Come on up." He hesitated, unwilling to spoil the calm moment of reflection. And he liked standing in the valley below and watching her enjoy her new life. There had been so many times before when she’d been reduced to listlessness. He was afraid for her sanity. He wasn’t Angelus. But she was safe from Angelus, he assured himself with a sigh. There was nothing he could do to her now, even if he did return. That seemed a distant possibility now. He joined her on the hill, stepping up behind her and watching all she saw from over her shoulder. She was smiling in wonder. He’d never seen her face lit up that way, and it delighted him. "I didn’t know this would mean that much to you." "I miss them. I miss the outdoors." "Then we’ll have to go out much more often," he decided, and she nodded in agreement. Without warning, she pulled him down to sit on the soft earth alongside her. "I’m glad you made me eat that night," she confessed, pinning him with her eyes. He was startled. "I thought-" "I wanted to die?" He nodded. "I did. But not now. I must admit that living in a cage kind of clouds your judgments on life." She’d meant it as a joke, but he looked like she’d just pulled out a stake. "I didn’t mean-" She touched his arm apologetically. "I’m sorry," he sighed, looking away from her, "It was just, well, Angelus, and Dru-" "You don’t have to explain," she said gently. "They wanted to kill me. You had no choice." When he didn’t turn around, she reached out for him , drawing his face to her slowly. "Hey," She tried to smile, but felt it ooze away as she saw his face. The seriousness she found there struck her like a physical blow. She’d never seen such a look. "It’s alright," she purred, trying to heal the painful wound she’d somehow caused. The rays of the moon lit up his pale face, and his hair looked as white as the light itself. Something within her clicked when his eyes finally met hers. Her heart rose in her throat, and tried to steady herself to keep from choking on it. Her cheeks were burning under the scrutiny of his searching gaze. She froze, not daring to move her hand, or anything else. An outside force pushed them together, if anything. Their lips met tenderly, but the shock of the contact was like lightning. Both were temporarily taken aback, and on the verge of turning around and taking off in opposite directions. They didn’t. Willow touched his face gently, smoothing her fingers over a scar on his cheek. With that encouragement, he weaved his fingers into her hair delicately and deepened their kiss. Though they were vampires, and creatures of passion, the kiss remained an angelic experiment. A swift gust of wind had them huddling closer. Neither needed air, so it lasted for minutes. Spike drew away first, looking more like a shy child than a powerful vampire. Willow smiled at him reassuringly, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear. Reality was quick to rush in, and Willow suddenly realized that it was later than they’d imagined. She could feel the faint glow of the sun beginning approach the horizon, and grabbed Spike’s hand. She saw him look back over his shoulder. He felt it too. Together, they charged for the warehouse, tripping up several times in the process. The light was getting stronger she knew. Halfway there, she saw the glow. "Spike! We can’t make it. We have to find somewhere else to-" That was when he dragged her down cement stairs and through a broken door. Regaining her senses in an instant, she slammed the door behind her and sunk to a seated position on the floor. It suddenly struck her: this was Angelus’ apartment. *** Ingrid: Author of many long Buffyfics (and some short ones). Summary: Angel(the soul) confronts Angelus. Notes: Although it isn't necessary to read "Moments of Truth" you might want to, b/c there are tiny references to it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angelus was lounging around the old warehouse, paying no heed to the fact it was basically charcoal. That was the Watcher's doing. After finding his love dead on his bed with a broken neck, compliments of Angelus, Giles went postal and came after him. But the knowledge that he is slowly killing Buffy mentally, starting with Jenny Calendar, made up for the fact that Giles had beaten him. Drusilla and Spike took the others vampires out to look for a new place to live So now in the quiet surroundings of the empty wharehouse Angelus was lost in his evil thoughts. "So Angelus, play any good games lately?" A voice called out to him. Angelus' eyeslids flew open and he looked around the warehouse. "Who said that?" he snarled. "I'm hurt that you don't remember me, especially since we've been so close for 80 years," the voice taunted. Suddenly an apparition of Angel appeared in the warehouse. Arms folded across his chest and his trademark half smirk upon his face. "Well if it isn't the loser Angel," Angelus observed. "I didn't lose anything....well except control of my body," Angel informed. "Your about to lose a whole lot more, including your precious Buffy," Angelus vowed. "In fact you're already losing her." "I'm warning you to leave her alone. You hurt her and I'll kill you myself," Angel warned. Angelus chuckled. "I'd like to know what you're going to do about it. I have control of this body now, and now that the gypsy is dead you're never going to get it back." Now it was Angel's turn to chuckle. "How do you know that? Can you be absolutely sure?" The smirk Angelus now wore was gone and anger replaced his features. He snarled and lept at Angel reaching for his throat, but passed right through him. Angel laughed hysterically. "You poor fool. You have no idea." "What are you talking about?" Angelus snarled his game face in place. "That's for me to know and you to find out," Angel replied. "I swear I'm going to kill her. I'm going to kill them all. They're going to die a slow painful death," Angelus sneered. "No you won't. You can't break them down anymore. She's not Drusilla. Buffy's stronger then you think. Your leaving little gifts on their beds was one thing, but killing Ms. Calendar was the last straw." Angel informed. "Never say never," Angelus smirked. "You should because I saw them all a little while ago. We've all had closure. Especially Buffy and myself," Angel stated. Angelus simply glared realizing his plans may be ruined. "That doesn't stop me from killing them. No one can stop me." "Well see," Angel smiled. "A little advice from spirit to demon. What goes around comes around." Angelus glared at the apparition of himself and lunged angrily at it once again. Angel faded out of sight, leaving laughter behind him. He knew full well he accomplished what he came for. "Who's the loser now!" Angelus heard him yell. A little while later Spike and Drusilla entered the main room of the wharehouse, where a very agitated Angelus was pacing back and forth like a rat in a cage. "What's wrong my Angel?" Drusilla cooed. "Nothing," Angelus gritted out. "Oh,does Mister I Got It All Under Control, not have it under control anymore," Spike taunted. "Shut up roller boy!" Angelus yelled and left the room. "You have my sympathy!" Spike shouted to his retreating form. "Yeah, right. Your time is coming Angelus," he whispered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The End - - ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 15 Mar 1998 17:00:40 EST From: Somalilly Subject: BUFFYFIC: I know that we're only supposed to address fics, but please read this!!
