On the negative is the funds ownership (43%), trailing PE (135), ROE (13%), and market cap ratio (approx $1 billion with sales projected of 60+ million). At a glance, didn't see anything other than New High to cover the "N" in CANSLIM. "C", "A", and "L" appear to be good, and the "I" and "S" appear to be within the "modern" WON version of CANSLIM. WON's recent comments suggest he is comfortable with current "M", however I don't share his confidence on the lack of need for breadth in the mkt. There were also some real climbers among the group -- America Online and MCI Worldcom both extended their growth spurts to near super-colossus status. I have bought back into MU at 55.25 and own some DELL at 81.25. These are invitingly volatile for two or three round trips a day. Both look momentarily bearish, but not enough so to short. I'd rather do long trades for a few dollars right now. ACI looks okay. I'm trading it between 10.75 and 11.25. I will consider letting all that I have go at 11.25 and look for a re-entry at lower price. I mentioned CIEN a couple of days ago. It has done quite well. I did not take any of that easy money. I'd wait for a 1/2 to 1 point retreat before buying. There is another stock that looks good: SMRT. It has strong Positive Divergence in both OBV and MF. The SloSto is retreating slightly. The MACD is strong and rising. There has been a uniform retreat forming the left side of the cup for two months. In Early February the right side of the cup rose at an incline greater than the left side decline. Price has closed twice above the resistance line that falls across the December/February highs. If the 8.87 resistance holds, you could consider this a breakout. The worry here is that the October lows form a congestive level minimally above the 8.87 resistance. It looks as if the selling was greater than the buying in October; therefore, there may not be as much resistance as the price alone shows. Were this true, then SMRT could rise more easily to 10.75 or so. The 3/7/10 EMA gave a First Level Sell on the Dow. Do not take this signal lightly as you consider new buys.
