I have a 250 lb friend that installed the Progressive 420 shock on his KLR. He is 'very' happy with the performance, and the bike looks like a bike in the back end now again, as opposed to a dog with it's tail between it's legs while he's sitting on it. I don't know how the KLR stock spring rate compares to the DR650 stock spring rate... all I know is that the sag is gone and the shock performs well for him. Even with the 2.6 (total, with reserve) gal. tank it is no problem running well over 100 miles on a tank.
