The air filter is probably over saturated with oil, because the crank case = breather blew oil in the air box.

As I've mentioned a couple of times, Mike Walburn and Dualstar http://www.dual-star.com/ are enthusiastic about the DR650 and have been gearing up with product support for it. I talked with Mike today and he had some Dual Star part numbers for us: 1. DR650 rear springs: Dual Star Part Nos. 20-98211 $79.95. These are 6.2 - 6.9 kg (350-390 lbs) progressive springs; stockers are 6.5 kg (360 lb straight rate). 2. Fork springs, Dual Star Part Nos. 20-98202. $89.95 per pair. These are the Larry Roessler Signature Series springs. 3. The Dual Star centerstand for the DR650 lives! Mike said he is sending me a production version for testing. I'll have a complete report in the June/July issue of Dual Sport News www.dualsport.org . KLR owners have come to love the Dual Star centerstand and I'm certain the DR650 product will be of the same fine quality and engineering. Mike has designed the centerstand so a user can fabricate a rear support from the stand to a bash plate. A Dual Star bash plate is in the works. Give Mike a call if you have further questions. I did but their is a drain on my battery I think it is something I did but can't pinpoint it. I used the ignition kill switch for my on/off switch by cutting off the key switch wires and soldering them to the kill switch. The black wires are on the kill side and on one side of the start side the orange and red wires are together and the brown and (I think it was a yellow wire) are on the other side. But I don't think the brown and yellow wires should be together until the switch is turned on. With them touching I think I am getting a slow but constant drain on the battery does this sound right?
