These provide more stability to the front end and they hardly ever bend for the plus side. With the regular size I have the Tag 5 bar that is aluminum but is 5mm thick wall so it is advertised as 20% stronger than standard aluminum bars. these retail for $83.00 verses $141.00 for the triple clamp then another $89.00 to $119.00 for the bars, if you would choose to go with the fat bar option. I am still working on my DR350 goodies parts menu will have it available soon. I've been looking at Renthals but I'm not sure of the current height and bend of my current bar. I've opted to get new bars now that I have Acerbis rally pro handguards and dont feel like tapping the steel inserts in the factory bars. Any ideas? This is a higher bar (and stronger) that makes standing on the pegs much easier. It is also slightly wider than the stock bars for more leverage and control. It is the standard bar diameter so you don't have to buy an adapter. John F - - to unsubscribe to dr, send an email to "majordomo@xmission.com" with "unsubscribe dr" in the body of the message. I needed heavier springs for mine so my son could ride with me. I found them through White Bros. I got a heavier rear (Eibach) spring and heavier front progressive rate (Progressive Suspension) springs from them. The rear has a 7.1 kg/mm rate and I think the White Bros part # is 32-574. The front springs were 25-35# progressive rate and I think the White Bros part # is PS1510. I change my DR350 oil about every 800-1000 miles when I notice the gear change getting notchy. UK riding is pretty demanding on oil with often low speeds and heavy loads from the mud. If I use exactly the same oil (fully synthetic) is there any harm in only changing the filter every other oil change? Opinions please!
