ITS FRESH IN MY MIND SINCE I DID MINE ABOUT A MONTH AGO. THE SCREEN IS PART OF THE FITTING THAT SCREWS INTO THE CENTER DOWNTUBE OF THE FRAME(FRONT). THERE IS A HOSE THAT GOES THERE. TAKE THE HOSE CLAMP LOOSE AND REMOVE THE HOSE. (AFTER DRAINING YOUR OIL) THEN TAKE A SOCKET OR WRENCH AND TAKE THE FITTING OUT (IT HAS A HEX ON IT). THE SCREEN IS PART OF THE FITTING. DONT BE SUPRISED TO SEE A FEW SMALL METAL CHIPS OR DEBRIS, THATS JUST LEFTOVER FROM WHEN THE BIKE WAS MADE AND THATS WHY THE SCREEN IS THERE. WHEN THEY HAVE THE OIL TANK AS PART OF THE FRAME THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IT ALL OUT WHEN IT IS MANUFACTURED SO THEY PUT A SCREEN IN THERE TO KEEP THAT STUFF FROM GETTING TO THE MOTOR. I HOPE THIS HELPS, GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN , ADAM (96DR350) ______________________________________________ FREE Personalized Email at Mail.com Sign up at http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup - - to unsubscribe to dr, send an email to "majordomo@xmission.com" with "unsubscribe dr" in the body of the message.
