Some of you might know this already, but I wanted to mention that www.bookfinder.com is a coaltion of used and rare bookdealers worldwide. One can usually find a good selection of Glen Cook titles through them. They also note sources of new books. All in all, a very useful resource. - -----Original Message----- From: Horky, Roger To: 'glencook-fans@lists.xmission.com ' Sent: 8/4/01 11:04 AM Subject: RE: (glencook-fans) Garrett books - -----Original Message----- From: Kal To: glencook-fans@lists.xmission.com Sent: 8/3/01 10:58 PM Subject: Re: (glencook-fans) Garrett books I live up in the Pacific Northwest and I have a hard time finding them. I was buying them off eBay one at a time. Every time I bought one, I asked the seller whether he/she had any other Cook books. After just a few tries, one of them said, "Sure, I've got them all." I bought one copy of each one I didn't have for $5 each, free postage. Don't know if this helps anybody out, but it's worth a try if you're having trouble finding things. Of course, I ended up blowing $20 on FIRE IN HIS HANDS last week to complete my collection, but cumulatively, not a bad deal. This is advanced book exchange and is a bunch of indie stores. I also have many dupes of many of the books, but really I'm only interested in trade. If you're sitting on extras of some, but lack others, feel free to drop me your want lists (no need to confine this to Cook). I haunt used stores also and am willing to add others' wants to my searches. I have like 8 copies of "Ill Fate," have the Darkwar books several times over and many of the Garrett books in dupes. I also have most of the Dread empire in dupes (minus one or two of the harder ones). I have plenty of Tower of Fears. I only have one copy of Dragon and don't have a complete set of the Startfishers stuff. This is all from memory, so will have to really look if you're wanting to exchange lists christopher.... ======================================================================= To unsubscribe, subscribe, or access the archives of this list, visit . ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 05 Aug 2001 14:29:05 -0600 From: Eric Herrmann Subject: (glencook-fans) Monthly Mailing List Info The July mail archive has been posted to the website.
