Hope = you and your=20 family made it through the winter all right.  It's been a bad = one for=20 illnesses--we sure got hit.  How's your Mom doing?  = It was=20 nice to see her at the last AML meeting--I hope things are = going all=20 right for her in the wake of your father's=20 death.

I = wanted to=20 ask, what kind of homage does Irreantum expect should a = poem=20 published in its venerable pages be accepted by=20 another periodical?  I want to try "It Doesn't Take a = Rocket=20 Scientist" on a family mag called Mothering.  They = published one=20 of my poems two or three years ago.  The really attractive = thing=20 about them is that they pay, $50/poem.

By = the way, I was=20 astonished by the presentation "Desert Gramarye" got in = Irreantum--it=20 took up a lot of space.  Part of me was very pleased, as I'm = trying to=20 make as serious an effort as I can to publish more, but part of me=20 said, "I've got to learn to write shorter=20 poems."

However, I'm always=20 happy to get my Irreantum.  They ought to have = a=20 special form or box on the regular form for gift=20 subscriptions.
