So, there's no need to watch Des O Connor next week! Phew! This may be a good sign because if you're planning a concert you wouldn't want to pop to England to do an interview as it would take up a full day.............. By the way, apologies for the Revolution web site being down the past few days the service provider has been playing up. It should be okay now. Thirdly, Rendezvous 98 is out in France on CD single now, Fnac in Lille had loads. Colin. - ------------------------------------------------------- Colin Neal. (R)evolution Magazine. Over here in the UK theres an amasing up and coming comic called Bill Bailey (Space cadets, Is It Bill Bailey ?), and last night I went to see him live. (Ok, the on-topic bit...)His act features him, a guitar, mayhem and a synth or two in various measures. At one point he got someone from the audience to intone "dooooooooooo" into a mic. He sampled this and used it to play a 5th century harpsicord song, and it sound just right ! Next, with my heart dropping he got her to say in a monotone 'jean michel jarre is a french onion'. "Oh Gawd" I thought. He then used the sample to play a resonable version of Oxygene 4 (using just the 'Jarre' bit becuase the notes overlapped) with a base line and tune ! Of course, at the end he let the sample run out and echoed it a bit :-) It was amasing ! if your in the UK, he's on tour now :-) Oh, yeah, pint for the first person to send me a WAV/mp3/MOD of it :-) http://www.metagrafx.demon.co.uk/billbailey/main.html - -- Exam panic Falken, now home at http://falkensweb.home.ml.org K T [] /\ () P.S.
