Hi guys! Latest news from a f**king cold Sweden: I talked to the producer today and there will be a delay of the shirts. The shirts that they are going to make the print on was ordered from the manufacturer two weeks ago, but arrived as late as wednesday last week. Then, when they started the production, they noticed that the printing on the front was going to look awful and tried different solutions. Nothing worked out well so they called me twenty minutes ago. If you hear this Mattias Frid, please mail me the blaster that you have on your site 'cause we will try to use that one instead. (Why didn't I write _this_ in swedish?) Sorry for all this, but I guess you want the shirts in perfect shape and therefor could stand the delay. I'll keep you updated. As it looks now the shirts will be ready next friday or someone have to die =) (That someone might be me, I'm not sure, but it sure feels that way...=) ) Cheers, Johan AB Upsala Nya Tidning E-mail: Johan.Hedberg@unt.se Johan Hedberg Fax: 018 - 478 14 76 UNT Fredag Tel: 018 - 478 11 23 Box 36 Mobil: 070 - 473 15 75 751 03 Uppsala # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 09 Nov 1998 01:57:20 PST From: "David Lindgren" Subject: (klf) I H8 666.... I didn't see it again during the rest of the video. It is "GBS". Not "CBS". One thing that always bothered me about the video was on stage there were two Pyramid Blasters, one with one speaker and one with two. Added together, that only makes 3. Where was the 5? It occurred to me when the shots pulled away from the stage area, a miniature of the Stadium House showed the KLF were communicating from a super-huge Pyramid Blaster. Sure enough, on either side were two more speakers. You do the math. My mind is now at ease. >Don't take 5, take what you want.< # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 09 Nov 1998 12:43:53 -0800 From: "Copper's Comments" Subject: (klf) whiggy's mix If you haven't checked out Whiggy's mix of the Rites of Mu, I encourage you to do so. Interesting. In 1992 there was a record called "Bolt" by Horsepower, which sampled the Black Beauty theme & loads of neighing & whinnying in what I suppose could sort of be considered a KLF-y style. I own it and I quite like it. AND I'M NOT ASHAMED OF IT! Jimmy Cauty was rumoured to be involved but the sleeve notes, label & press release provide no proof of that. I can't listen to RA files and I can't download the WAV so I can't tell you if it's similar, or even the same track... Bit of a coincidence, though. >> Dunno, but its crap.
