Sampling Metallica and Chuck D from opposite sides of the Napster debate, it rocks like a demon- as much of an attacking 'high' as "America: WTIL" except more blunt. Lovely. Go buy. Oh, by the way, it's been released as a 6-track single as a protest against the chart rules that've restricted the number of mixes they would've been able to put out otherwise. The Rob Searle mix is a lovely slice of trance. They will discuss Home's taste in malt whisky (biased towards the fiery and peaty, among his favourites are Talisker, Laphroaig and Springbank), read extracts from his avant-garde pornography and make bread dolls. The dolls are assembled from a large family loaf for the body, a smaller round loaf for the head, with French sticks used for the limbs. (peeled carrots are used as a phallus on male dolls because bread becomes soggy if sucked and isn't functional for penetrative purposes either). Bread dolls play a central role in the Home mythos as down market sex toys. They are certainly cheaper than blow up sex dolls (which start at around 40 and go up to 5000 in price). The more perverted among Home's devotees eat bread dolls after they have been used in sex play and liberally smeared with rancid soft cheese. Home acolytes are also much given to doing jigs in flaming bread hats. Large flat loaves are coated on top with glue which is set alight. The flaming bread hat is then placed on the devotees head - with the dough acting as insulation against the flames, so while this looks dangerous, it is relatively safe if done outdoors. If you want to get into the spirit of Home Night on 14 October (a bit like Burns Night but with bread dolls as well as whisky) - get in some booze, order some Stewart Home books (non-fiction titles include Confusion Incorporated and Mind Invaders, typical of his novels are Cunt and Blow Job) from Amazon or wherever - AND HEAD FOR A BAKER'S SHOP! You'll have great "fun". Maybe because he isn`t subbed to the KLF list. >anyone heard anything abouthis new murder novel he is >supposedly writing?? Yeah! The Butler did it... But seriously, I understand that it`s been finished but there are problems with getting it published as the contents are too libellous and he`s been asked to submit the contents to the Government`s D Notice Committee so that the text can be vetted before possible publication. I spoke to Stewart on the phone the other day and he`s well pissed off with the delays as he intended this work to be released ASAP due to the contemporary controversial content (that reveals a sinister Government plot involving a mind control state asset called Kristian Gomeche and includes a lot of apparently classified information that has been mixed up with the fiction to produce a 'factional' novel). It seems that the closing scenes are set around Callanish where an organisation called K5 Plant Hire Ltd are to set about napalming and destroying the Scottish Stones. I've seen a few extracts knocking about and I think that if Stewpot can`t actually get it accepted for imminent release by a publisher then he`s probably going to distribute it via the internet as an electronic book or something. It also promises to be the biggest Home tome yet...
