Truelove was (is?) a bit of a techno-hippy (hence all the blurb in these credits) who went off the rails a bit in 1993 (poss early 94) - had a big fall-out with Balfey, which included him tearing up Balfey's office while the company's financial controller looked on helplessly and the staff watched, fascinated and slightly appalled, through the glass panel in the door... - ------------------------------------- hi everybody, i just picked up a cd single for $1 of "The Source - Sanctuary of Love". the main reason for buying it was because it was only $1AU, and because i thought it might have been a reworked version of another song i know called Sanctuary (was it the mission? who sung it originally? some alternative/goth band anyway). as it turns out, it wasnt the song i thought it was but i spotted some oddness which i thought i'd report. the text on the back of the cd goes (after the track listings)..... Dedicated to Cope, Haggis, Blur and all the victims of a Mega Lo Maniac personality. creative inspiration from Verdi and Bressenger, E Trax and Age of Love! Special thanks to Richard Bolger for his input. Dennis Pino for his patience. Paul Spraggon and Tim Northrop at Searles. Pete, Phil and John at ffrr. To Terry Marks at Siz Foot Six. Sally Gross Management and everyone for their support through harrowing times. May 23 be with you! Special love to Raquel. THE MESSAGE IS STILL LOVE i've tried to keep the formatting the same. that last line is centered. its cat# as far as i can tell is: 11637 the oddness was the 23 bit, and the dedication to Cope. its a bit of a jump but its within six degrees if it does refer to julian. anyone got any ideas? clues? comments? i can remember the name "The Source" from the early 90's. i just remember them as some kind of house/techno/whatever it was called then band. cheers brendan # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Nov 2000 04:46:23 -0800 From: "gold_farb" Subject: (klf) Chill Out - Mega Mix uploaded I've uploaded this to the Incoming folder. +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | The coolest site for free home pages, email, chat, e-cards, movie info.. | | http://www.goplay.com - it's time to Go Play! | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Nov 2000 20:03:58 +0100 From: erik Subject: Re: (klf) Chill Out - Mega Mix uploaded This chill out mega mix (ultra rare) going around on napster is definitly what you can find in the discography as Chill Out 2. The other mix listed in the discog is almost similar btw. Slightly different samples.
