He produced Madonna's current album, so in fact you would have had to not listened to most radio stations at all for the past six months to have not heard something he was responsible for. "Naive Song" is his most popular own-track to date, reaching #3-ish in the UK charts. The mixes are pretty good, I prefer the Olav Basoski mix. What Mirwais does with his acoustic guitar sounds is pretty nice, but I fail to see any KLF connection either musically or otherwise. Are there other listmembers who have got a copy also? It's not in the discography. The CD is just like the "official" Mu. The CD itself says: "Sample not for sale". There is this japanese sticker on the back inlay of the cd. I can't read that :). I think it says "promo" but i am not sure. There is also this little attachement on the cd with additional information. All copies Iīve seen so far got the same text on it. > There is this japanese sticker on the back inlay of the cd. I can't read > that :). I think it says "promo" but i am not sure. There is also this > little attachement on the cd with additional information. Itīs called "obi strip" - donīt ask me what that means. Oh, by the way - japanese anyone ? We need a translation of the second part of the booklet... although the pictures could suggest it, it doesnīt look like the Rites of Mu "vocals" since itīs too long. But it must be related to them. cy@ c-Row - -- Sent through GMX FreeMail - http://www.gmx.net # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2001 18:17:53 From: "Chad Gombosi" Subject: Re: (klf) MU DJ PROMO >There is this japanese sticker on the back inlay of the cd. You really should scan it and upload it somewhere so we can look at it. I can read some Japanese so I might be able to tell you what the sticker says. I'm not sure what the "official" Mu is, but since I got my dj promo copy I've been looking for the non dj copy and not found it and cannot find any reference to it, so I suspect there were only dj promo's made.
