Hey, if I'd known that sending you the discs was going to make you feel more popular as well as help you hear the Kompetition tracks then I would have charged more money... Glad the discs arrived safely and you seem happy with them. Other people who've sent me a payment for the discs might want to know that the number of discs requested is currently slightly outweighing the number of hours available in my day to burn the discs, so there's about a 3-day delay before I'm sending the discs out. Hopefully nobody minds. Wasn't much..but there was a good comment by the narrator.. "If anyone was looking for a personality behind the music, they're still looking" pretty much featured 3 am eternal, then had comments about how they got tammy to sing for them, and showed a clip of the vid.. pretty cool nonetheless.. I didn't think the american MTV gave a damn about them anymore..(certainlly haven't played any of their videos in a number of years.) Oh yeah..I forgot..MTV doesn't play videos anymore..my bad.. # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2001 15:11:00 -0600 (CST) From: danhutchins@core.com Subject: Re: (klf) MTV's two hit wonders show I also saw this show. As usual, American MTV missed the point of the KLF completely! Far from being a two hit wonder in their own right, Bill Drummond was also the manager and sometime produer of Echo and Teardrop, which in my estimation would make him something of an alternative Barry Gordi/Phil Spector.
