I have some If you have a CD Writer try downloading and using BlindWrite (http://www.blindwrite.com) this is really good software that can copy very badly damaged CD's onto a spare disc (it's also very good at copying some PSX games!). I had a CD-R with the silver foil scratched from the top that the drive didn't read but BlindWrite copied it. # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 18 Aug 2001 20:12:50 +0000 From: Agust A J Subject: Re: (klf) OT Searching for some CDs for bad cds, try using EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de) it's the best you can use to rip cds perfectly... might take a little time to set it up & configure it properly but it's great for making sure you get a perfect rip... helped me with some badly scratched cds I got some some idiot :p - --- Agust "Nemesis1" - aaj@centrum.is - ICQ: 1290264 - http://nem1.cjb.net free your :) [tm] # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 19 Aug 2001 02:02:02 EDT From: TheMgnt@aol.com Subject: Re: (klf) OT Searching for some CDs > for bad cds, try using EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de) > it's the best you can use to rip cds perfectly... > might take a little time to set it up & configure it properly but it's > great for making sure you get a perfect rip... I don't know how good it is for ripping from damaged cds, but I have heard a lot of good things about this (free) program. I could be wrong about that, but it definitely says something about the Black Room on my copy of IGUN. I think it's under "other data" on the label or something like that. I only ask because IGUN isn't listed in that list of supposed Black Room tracks. But maybe someone already said something about it and I missed it. OT: I've been in Croatia for the last 3 weeks for a sort of conference thing. Met a guy named Andy, who DJs at a club in N. Wales. Goes by the stage name of "DJ Marcelle." Anyone in that area heard of him? Or is there anyone in that area? I'm in the US so it doesn't really matter, but I thought the connection was interesting, though I can't remember the name of the club. Anyway if you haven't been to Croatia, do so before you die. It's nice there, and it's one of the balkans where the fighting isn't still going on.
