In the area of packs, they carry day/packs, weekend packs, weekly packs, frame - no frame, codura - non codura, wet proof, all sorts of accessories for the packs, they have really cornered the market up here. Every shape, size, and colour imaginable they carry, I personally have 2, a day pack and a larger weekend pack, and I am really tough on things and both these packs have followed me everywhere, and have done it very well for past 4yrs. MEC designs, tests, and constructs all there own products and take a lot pride in it and they will stand behind everything they make. My experiences have been great, to even bringing things back a year later, and all I get is a smile and exchange slip for another. P.S. I have no interests in the company, only excellent service received each visit. If you have a good hardware store in your area, you can take your main jet in and start poking their itsy bitsy drills into the main until you find a perfect match and then buy the next couple of sizes. Make sure you mark them with masking tape for future refernce. You will save a bunch of money. It is too hard to drill out the pilot jet, in fact a few of the new flat slide carbs have a different pilot that has a cross hairs in the center, you can't even poke those clean with fine wire without causing yourself a headache. Of course these folks want to sell you their product but it's not just smoke and mirrors. BTW, Redline recommends an oil change interval of 10-18K miles/one year (whichever comes first). First, I resent that rub, this has become a very serious episode in the Faulkner household. Now, I must say EUREKA!! I believe I have found the method to steer my wife to come to Her limited senses. I informed Her that if She chooses the F650, I would be forced to join the F650 List, since the bike obviously needs so much help, and I`m not very experienced in working on such low quality and poorly designed pieces of machinery, I mean, MY GOSH!, I work on KLR`s and aircraft, for goodness sake. That was that. No way Hosea, was She going to let me join another List, not with the time I spend reading this List and working on my bike. I now recommend this threat to Ron, if it becomes a problem in his household. I must caution, the final decision hasn`t been made yet, and I may be forced to break my word, because the day that the KLR comes with dual front rotors, 60hp, WP front end and rear shock, 300 watt alternator, dual headlights, 50lbs. lighter, no vibration, and dual plugs, will be the day I join an F650 List.
