I dunno the title of what you were watching, there are a whole slew of movies out there, but the Crusty series rules by far! Go to www.motorcycle.com go to the video section, and they have some cuts available for download from Crusty 4 I think including Seth Enslow's famous dune jump, awesome. If I had a son, I would want him to be just like Seth! Uh, maybe I should rethink that a bit! ;) Hey folks this sounds like a new interesting topic. What are the best cyco-jumper movies out there? Here is the latest that I've gotten...we know the bike will come in two versions the local SLC dealer today told me that the one that all of us have been calling the GS will simply be called the F650...the one we've been calling the Paris-Dakar will be called the GS. The GS has the 21" wheel, increased travel, no centerstand and no ABS. They offered to sell me one today for $8,800-$9,000 (g) whichever I wanted to pay...arrival in May... (If you are ever in that area it is definitly worth a stop. Eye candy everywhere.) The video was a bunch of guys jumping anything and everything on motorcycles and atv's. It seemed like they were going around the world doing this and some of the things they jumped were amazing. Someone in our group mentioned that this video was called "Dirt Nasty" but I haven't been able to find this title anywhere. Has anyone out there seen this video? What is the proper title? I would like to buy this video if it is available. It was so good it actually diverted my attention from all those "California Girls". No penalty for looking I say. Still enjoying the Gran Canyon. Only have 533 km on it so far. Just moved to Vancouver BC a few months ago. Been riding for 16 years, lots of sport and touring miles on hardened earth (or better known as pavement :-). I am looking for a 96 or newer KLR 650 to explore my new surroundings. I've just come across a very low km 96. I have a couple of questions which I hope you guys can help. Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it in the archives. I understand the tranny was revised during the 96 model year. How can I tell if the bike has the revised components??? The bike has a few minor scratches and about 4000km on the odo. Any suggestions as far as a fair price??? Thanks for putting up with the new guy :-) EVAN 98 TLR 98 R1 87 FZ 700 & 83 XR350 - for sale - bikes still in San Francisco, just in case anyone is interested PS: a quick observation about BC. Its a very beautiful place, but its winters are wet, tight twisty pavement is rare, and seems like the police are everywhere armed with the latest speed measuring devices. Luckily (at least according to the OHV map), logging and other unpaved roads are aplenty. After seeing the dry weights, etc., I just told them that BMW was shooting it's self in the foot again on these bikes as far as I was concerned. They are still not 3000 bucks better than my KLR even for just the road. Any suggestions as far as a fair price??? no...the '96 and later have an upgraded clutch and balancer chain mechanism. You can tell by using a flashlight and peering into the front sprocket cover (it's slotted)...If the countershaft has one large (27mm) nut it is upgraded. As for price, you'll have to wait for the Canadiens to respond as y'all get your bikes cheaper than those of us in the rest of North America.
