I've gotta ask - do you actually have a 40-inch inseam? And what do you do with your legs on airplanes? > I own a '98 XR650L. Granted, I was at a motorcycle show trying on bikes in Birkenstocks and a sarong, but I could still tell the KLR was pretty much just right, and the XR was waaaaaay too tall. I slung my leg over the KLR, whipped the bike upright, and felt the great seating position. I moseyed over to the Honda booth, slung my leg over the XR, thought about moving the bike off the side-stand, looked around panicked for anyone who might be willing to catch me if I tipped the bike too far and couldn't touch the ground on the other side, oddly enough, didn't have any takers, and decided to dismount before I took out the entire Honda display. ;) Sarah - -- Sarah Barwig Developer WeddingChannel.com (213) 599-4144 888 S. Co. out of Menlo Park, CA 94025 I was sold the policy by my dealer ( Kawasaki Of Riverside ) at the same time I took delivery on my A13. It costs me $168 per year for full coverage. I put the liability limits up to 100 / 300 and that added $250 on top of that. I gather not many motorcyclists do that, but my missus is an underwriter for another company ( they don't write bikes), and pointed out that if I run over a crackhead looking for dope in the gutter, they could have my house. I just bought an '85 klr600 and in riding it around the back 40 of my parents house, I have noticed that the rear shock is painfully soft (like a trampoline - with wheels). Next weekend I will need to replace the clutch and a few other minor things at which time I will crank up the preload and rebound dampening to (hopefully) better suite my 210 lbs. Assuming this does not do the trick, what is the address and phone #'s to Aftershocks or Bob Bell if I have to contact them for a rebuild.
