She called him a drag queen among other things. (Was it Coudhil, Morgan, Meyers, you'd think I'd remember.) The best part was that her victim forwarded the letter to the list as she had sent it to him personally. Even though the joke was on him, he felt it was too good not to share. Being the officer and gentleman he is Juan also took your assault well. Bogdan BTW, how come you rarely respond to my provocations? Are they too subtle? For > me that was wrong! > > Richard Sanders A13 > Morgantown WV HEY GUYS! That's the 'instability' I have been concerned with and trying, once again, to do away with. Here's the story. My 93' 650 with a 4.75 Bridgestone rear and a 3.25 IRC front, no luggage, fork(top caps) just above top triple-tree clamp, was stable. I could shake the bars at 70+, about 1-1 1/2in., back and forth(l-r).......like I was trying to feel the stability of the bike.......and the bike actually felt solidly planted. The Bar Shake Test, when underway, would have the effect of making the bike feel as if you were actually beginning to 'turn' it........i.e. the whole bike would shift...... giving you the impression that- without hands on the handlebars -the bike would ride over small bumps and remain on course..........this condition I'll refer to as ultimate stability. Then I put on a set of AM24's and immediately, above 70, the stability was compromised. The rear tire is a 5.10 and the front a 3.25. Doing the same Bar Shake Test the front now feels a bit squirrelly and like I better damn be holding on if any obstacle is encountered because otherwise the grip will be wrenched from my hand(s) and the left to right alternation of the handlebers will be catastrophic. My 600 has this 'ultimate stability' and I have only witnessed a few other bikes 'ever' that did. One was a Yamaha DT175, see Dinosaur era. I have to change things ALOT to get out of 'ultimate stability' on the 600. Anyway, the GOAL will eventually be met.....in that experimenting with new Front fork settings, and tires pressures.......I think I'll find near that desired stability on the 650. Maybe it can even be improved, but for now, whatever it takes(other tires/ other fork settings), that's the goal. there, I explained it...... Then you know, in expounding, that although the Krishnamurti Volumes do express the likeness among all cultures........their fundamental utterance is that of Oneness of the individual's activity......which of course discourses on the relationship of knowledge and the present moment.............unlike typical doctrine K's 'inquiry' requires the reader to actually stop and reflect, becoming clear with ones own understanding before proceeding on to further inquiry..........it is indeed an approach to learning as a state rather than an accumulation of knowledge.......much like un-practised Zen.
