The balcony seats are almost sold out, and by the time KW gets to NYC they will (hopefully) have built up a lot of good publicity. It looked like a live event, but no audience was visible. I'd guess it was recorded 1976 or perhaps 1977, based on their looks. I've never seen this recording before and it's quite different from the other Autobahn recordings I've seen. One fun part was a good close-up of the drum-pads used by Karl and Wolfgang. They were obviously early prototypes, with cabels visible, and everything placed in simple boxes. One thing amazed me. All four on stage, but no neon-signs with their names! I thought they've been used for all performances since the R&F-days. It might be that Karl was so new to the group at the time of the recording, and the sign simply wasn't ready. Onybody else who has seen the recording I'm refering to? Somebody who even has a video-copy of the whole song or performance? /Joakim # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? And when the program ended with house music there was no references towards KW.
