I believe the still have a web-site at www.razormaid.com. BUT - I warn you, Joseph Watt is one paranoid bastard. At the New Order mailing list we had a flame-war between razormaid and the entire list. The only thing we (I) did was to announce that Razormaid were going to make a CD entirely with new Depeche Mode remixes, and one with New Order remixes. This bit of info I got from the Razormaid news-letter, however leaking this to the New Order List pissed J. Watt off - and he threw me off the Razormaid newsletter list, called me all kinds of names - and stated that I was a liear. So beware if you're dealing with them. The reason of this reaction was probably because Razormaid is a DJ only remix service - that can make unauthorized remixes of tracks - as long as they are only sold to genuine DJs only to be played in clubs. I accidentally revealed that they sell their products to anyone that hits their web-site - and they got a bit scared. Anyway they've remixed a few Kraftwerk tracks, and do occasionally sell these semi-legal remixes on various re-releases. When Udo Lange (still head of Virgin/Germany + current partner of an alliance led by Daniel Miller/Mute Records, which is trying to get the NEU! classics) rejected this album in 1987 [...], which under normal circumstances would have been released as "la Duesseldorf 5" or "5 Pearls + a Hammer", it became totally clear to me, that this American dominated business did not tolerate a "hammer" like "America", of which the prototype version on "Neondian" [...] had caused a 1985 "fake-release" by Teldec [...]. Since he [Ken Matsutani, Captain Trip] broke the industry-boycott against me [...], he released a wide range not only of my own music + projects but also of people who I think deserve to be released but would never get a chance in the west. He even helped to re-unite the Dinger brothers by releasing the la D. classics in 1997, which are currently blocked in the west in a court battle with East West ("America"), who for many years refused to even talk about an appropriate co-release of this world-wide highly acclaimed project. In Mar 1998 Ken Matsutani also produced the so far only ready-to-sign-contracts for the NEU! classics - clear + simple with phantastic conditions compared with the tricky-vague "No Biz like Showbiz" offers presented by a third-class buffer from Vancouver for the "Allmighties"... I would sign anytime, but NEU! is Dinger/Rother ... We reached the absolute peak (in value + absurdity) so far when the man, who had signed a ridiculous agreement in 1990! - who admitted that he owns me a lot in a 91 letter, refused an invitation to N.
