I bought one shirt at the show and one from ticketworld and the ticketworld one is a lighterweight material which shrank a lot (easily form an XL to an L) in the dryer. I was very upset by this. Maybe it was just the shirt included in the shirt/mousepad deal...I'd assumed it would be the same shirt I bought at the show. My mouse won't track on the mousepad, either, but that's probably just my mouse. I hung the pad on the wall instead. _________________________________________________________________ Eric Oehler www.kiwi-media.com wonko@chorus.net www.nulldevice.com 100% pure evil, from concentrate. # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? Sorry Eduardo, but DJ World Magazine is not a serious publication! This is the same magazine that, last year, before KW concerts at Free Jazz, published "an interview" with Ralf H=FCtter to a certain DJ Ziggy, acording himself, just because I'm a DJ and he (Ralf) is interested in know more about electronic dance music from other countries (SIC). Some pearls from Ralf at this article: 1. We travel for all Europe quickly. We go to clubs in Amsterdam, London, Berlin, we go to shows in Belgium, Paris, we listen to the radio, dance, we fell the music and the pulse of each place. 2. Talking about his personal life, Ralf said he is not married and has 50 years old. 3. He said the new album will come in the beggining of 1999. 4. We are connected with the new sounds, listening tecno, big-beat, tri-hop. He know and like Massive Attack. 5. Karl Bartos left the band to form Elektronik. 6. Ralf H=FCtter is physician and Florian engineer. 7. A photo from Henning has the title: Ralph Hunter (SIC) and much more... Ralf "talks" during two pages. Well, I think this "famous" DJ made a miracle! He made Ralf talks, and a lot! Maybe he could make now Florian talk much more! Well, I can say it's not easy make them talk. Florian gave me an autograph without a single word, and I talked a lot to try to make him talk. And then they, the only brazilian publication, write that KW will play here again... OK! I also saw that KW hit a few cities in Brazil in their last world tour. I wonder if that is because KW is especially well received in Brazil and given the respect they deserve there. In the states, KW is popularly viewed as a novelty act, as are other important groups like Devo and Talking Heads. Does Brazilian popular music culture view KW as important pioneers still worthy of respect? Are KW pop stars in Brazil? Or are there only a few fans? In the same vein, someone had asked recently how Kraftwerk are viewed in different states of the US. I'd be especially interested in hearing from list members in other countries who could tell us how KW are viewed in their countries.
