I'm in Canada and have linked Kraftwerk for quite a while. I've never been a "die hard" fan but I usually grab stuff that I don't have when I see it. I'm proud of the '90s vynal "Robots" and "Radioactivity" singles I got in the UK for about 2 pounds each. :) Anyway, I imagine that this is a horrible FAQ buit can anyone point me to where I could obtain a copy of one of the '98 tour bootlegs? Which is the best of the three? It would be a fun thing to have since I enjoyed the show so much (I was at the one in Detroit). - -- David Evans (NeXTMail/MIME OK) dfevans@bbcr.uwaterloo.ca Computer/Synth Junkie http://bbcr.uwaterloo.ca/~dfevans/ University of Waterloo "Default is the value selected by the composer Ontario, Canada overridden by your command." - Roland TR-707 Manual # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? Thank you Joakim, for the fine compliment. This touches me. I really wanted to try to "capture" some of the spirit of the real song although in my picky opinion, nothing will match the real thing. I only attempt a tribute at such. I wish there was a way to "legally" get this and others on a CD that can be marketed properly. I really want these covers to be tested on the dancefloors across Europe and the world. Does anyone on the list have any marketing ideas or access to DJ's at dance clubs? Please email me privetely on this, to not bog down this list. Thank you. Sincerely, Kevin Lux - --- "Svensson, Joakim" wrote: > Great going, Kevin! And because Bob Marley is even listed in the top 10 the whole endeavor is completely invalidated. What the hell did he really contribute? Love?! Ganja?! I feel more sickened and less amused that enough people accept Bob Marley as a great contribution to music in general. Lee "Scratch" Perry isn't even mentioned - and he was doing it better, longer and more widespread than the whole fuckin' Marley clan.
