The catalogue number is 83216541-2. <<< Impossible. This is not even an EMI-style catalog number! EMI catalog numbers, since 1993, follow a 1234 5 67890 1 2 format, with the five-number sequence being the catalog number that you remember for ordering purposes. The first 4 numbers are the series (usually 0777, 7243, 0946), the fifth number is a sub-series (7243s usually are followed by 4, 5, or 8), the second to last digit is the universal format number (2 for CDs, 1 for 12" vinyl, 4 for cassette, 3 for VHS, 8 for MiniDisc--with exceptions, such as WEA's 12" single format gets a "0" and EMI's enhanced CDs), and the last digit rounds everything into the 12-digit UPC format. Maybe, meanwhile the people at Karstadt Bremen are using the CDs as mini frisbees. Karstadt Hamburg (Moenckebergstrasse), anyway, is still stocked with the same copies since at least three months. Seems to be a classic drug on the market. Moreover, the CD set is still available at http://www.my-world.de/ , the price is DM 100 or EUR 51,13, as it ever was. What's the source of your information? (Just curious, too.) Amazon.com and CDNow.com both carry them in stock, they just cost a *bit* more. I was lucky enough to find Die Mensch Maschine here at a local 'underground' cd shop in my city for only $26... didn't have to pay shipping or anything. ;) Adam Krumbein Senior News Editor, 3D Portal Network http://www.3dportal.com http://www.halflife.net http://www.utworld.net http://www.dukeworld.com # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions?
