"Sonic Seasonings" remains my favourite, but I like all the Carlos LPs from the sixties and seventies. The later "Digital Moonscapes" and "Carnival of the Animals" were not so convincing. "Beauty in the Beast" is another masterwork, though. And some of the new CDs are also quite good. I=B4m not 100% shure, but, this music appears in Tokio concert (Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo, 1981-09-07, "Virtu Ex Machina" Bootleg, Beethoven Intro= ) and London (Hammersmith Odeon, London, 1981-03-13). It is identical to Concert Classics, but is packaged rather better. Last time I looked, you could buy it on eil.com at an inflated price from the Far East. Well.. if you've heard it on a Hammersmith Odeon Concert then it most certainly IS edited... no other music other than Kraftwerks own was playe= d onwards from the 'bleeps and bloops' intro. This is fact. I was there! BTW Kraftwerk did NOT play Hammersmith Odeon. London on 13 Mar 1981. As far as the Tokyo concert I would presume that this has also been 'tampered' with... I'm sure this has been talked about before and if I recall there is something in the FAQ too.... I think it would be far, far safer NOT to say "opening theme used by Kraftwerk in 1981 tour" in reference to these tracks.
