I am in agreement with those who want to move to the free list. As some of us are released, I would hate to see anyone stuck with paying for the list themselves or with managing it. It's wonderful to see the support of you sisters. Your willingness to contribute funds to keep our list alive is commendable. I like the idea of the free list, especially considering those outside the US. Can we get this resolved and get back to the original intent of our list? I'm getting so much mail about this, I can hardly keep up!!!! Thanks! I know there are obviously people who do not write anything (if there are 360 of us on this list), they just read. I don't want to lose anyone in the switching process. How you say it often counts more than what you say. 2. Make promises sparingly and keep them faithfully! 3. Watch for opportunities to praise and encourage frequently! Don't criticize! There is no such thing as constructive criticism. Criticism is pride! 4. Be interested in others. Learn about them. Let everyone you meet feel that you see them as important! 5. Be cheerful! Don't burden those around you with your small disappointments and minor aches and pains. Everyone carries burdens. Uplift rather than pull down! 6. Keep an open mind. Discuss but don't argue. Disagree without being disagreeable. 7. Refuse to gossip! It does nothing but cause hurt! 8. Be careful of another's feelings. Do not make jokes at someone's expense. 9. Pay no attention to bad remarks about YOU! Simply live so nobody believes it! 10. Don't be anxious about credit due YOU. Do your best and be patient. Forget yourself and let others "remember." Success is much sweeter that way! Side 2 The 5 Languages of Love Each person needs one of these things to feel LOVED. You will need different things from different people. Think about what you need most from each important person in your life. Let them know what you need. See what they need from you. You may choose one major need and one side order. 1. Physical touching (non-sexual) hugging, snuggling, handholding.... 2. Quality time (just you and me) 3. Words of Affirmation (you are so sweet, wonderful, great at music...this must be sincere!) 4. Gifts (small things, a token, a flower, a note) 5. Acts of Service (doing stuff for you so you don't have to) The girls really loved this stuff. The 2nd counselor in the Bishopric sat in on the lesson and couldn't wait to go home to do it for FHE. Hope it helps someone out there.
