It has the collected remixes of Go on it, and I am sure it's on there. Then again, you will also get 13 other mixs of Go, not to mention the actual Rare disk. This debate has been on the Chemical Brother's mailing list(the other mailing list I'm on, AKA the Secondary Prodigy list) for the longest time. Actually, it truely started with the rising popularity of "Firestarter" in the US, as well as the Prodigy's signing onto a major US record label, I think it's Madonna's label. Anyways, the major points were these: 1) the US exploits everything to the fullest. Soon well have the Prodigy and Underworld et al on our Wheeties boxes and punk teens will be moshing at Lallapalooza to Orbital and stuff. You'll have pathetic wannabe's at raves and Moby concerts just to be cool. 2) Just like Industrial and Alternative, the whole thing will be blown out. All our fav. artists will go more commercial because it simply doesn't pay not to - the millions in North America are too good to pass on. Plus, a whole bunch of poseur/crappy bands will be coming out with exactly the same sounds as our favorite artists(look at Robert Miles already, and how he totally ripped off Jam and Spoon). 3) We will no longer enjoy the exclusivity of being Moby fans, or any other underground artists. Maybe some of you don't care about that, but it IS pretty neat to say something like "I like Moby" and have all your friends say "who?". 4) On a positive side, the music won't be so taxing on our incomes/wallets. Less record digging too(I don't know if that's always good). And the artists we've grown to love are getting the money and recognition that they obviously deserve....unlike some artists like Alanis Morisette. 5) Another positive - the likelihood of more American Tours and Video/radio exposure. We can finally hear good stuff on the radio. Well...those were some of the most popular points regarding this topic that were mentioned on the Chembros list...well...at least what I go out of it. I don't really have an opinion on it one way or the other. For me...I'm just gonna wait it out and see what happens.
