About hendrix...yeah, didn't you all know that "Voodoo Child" sampled hendrix saying "called Voodoo Child" referring to one of his songs? and that theres a song called "voodoo child (slight return)"? (not sure if its the same as just "voodoo child") i thought everyone knew that! i guess i just have a greater knowledge of music than i thought i had! or something. i mean i'm not saying yall are stupid or somehting... anyway, i went to WPKN yesterday. Finally! it was the meeting where they talked about the budget. Rod Richardson (one of the best djs on the planet) was talking about making PKN available to listen to over the internet. so i was saying about how i thought it was a good idea and that i knew some people who would like to hear this station over the net. well if they do transmit over the net i'll let you all know for sure! i can;t wait till they do. anyway, i got to go to the stations massive library (or at least part of it) I wanted to browse around in the library for a few hours (maybe days...damn that thing is huge!) but i didn't have time. i guess they have a computer that organizes evrything, it doesnt seem to be in any order. i did find some stuff tho, like a Meat Beat Manifesto 12", a Psychic TV record, and an EBN cd. as well as some weirdo stuff like Philip Glass and stuff. but no Moby :( well next time i go there and i check out the computer that says where everything is, the first thing i'll look for is the Moby cds. but i have heard that the station for some reason does not have much music by him, unfortunately. oh well. heres the WWWPKN site btw: bye yall!!!!! == "and the day the doctor told me i didn't have worms anymore was the happiest day of my life!"-ralph wiggum >>>>>>>>>>PAUL<<<<<<<<<< _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? It is slow in pace, yet steady. I've posted about my store seeming to respond to my purchases personally, but actually all the stores are paying a little bit more attention. "Electronica" is growing a larger audience, faster and faster as time goes by. Although the mainstream media has failed to capitalize on it and are all but ignoring it for the tried and true moneymakers, the listeners taste IS being noticed by the retail market.
