As well as a few early tracks, it collects 14 (YES, 14!!!!!!) versions of Go. It's really good and interesting to read that out of the 14 remixes, 13 of them are by our very own Richard Hall himself!!!!! He must have been a busy boy. The cat number is PLRCD017 if anyone is interested. I could post up all the names of the remixes if asked for it. Ross ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I love a lot of moby's songs and I hate a lot of them, but I have greater respect for him than any other artist in my collection. The unique and crucial thing about loving moby's music is the ability to be amazed by his diversity and especially his evolution from album to album. Every album he has is distinctly different, and that is a pattern that will continue. The way I see it, you've got to love him for his change. Every album has gotten better since the beginning, and it will keep going that way... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! I'm confident that he won't. WOAH!!!! If Moby produced a "REPLAY: NON-STOP DJ MIX BY EVIL NINJA MOBY" I would run out and buy it!!!!! There is just so much that he can do with the material, the possibilities are endless. Making a Play2 release that resembles his TOURING LIVE play, or remixing PLAY further into a quality NON-STOP Trance/Dance release would be very interesting I think. We have heard the recent mix releases from DJ Tiesto, Paul_Oakenfold, Olav_Basoski, Ferry_Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, etc. Moby producing something would just put me in AWE! I have read the articles and SO WHAT IF THE license FROM EVERY SONG FROM PLAY HAS BEEN SOLD. Why is this so bad? This is great success for Moby and his hard work. << Subject: (mobility) DJ Pagan's FTP site? Hello everybody, I think I remember DJ Pagan posting that he had unlimited bandwidth at his ftp site. I am a huge Faithless/Rollo fan so of course I had to get his little sisters CD when it came out :) I met Dido last year at her concert here in Detroit, she is simply fabulous and what a voice. Such a sweetheart. I LUUUUUUUV her CD. As for the Rollo's Chillin With The Family Remix of "Here With Me" it is NOT available commercially. It is only available on an Arista Records US promo 12" vinyl and promo CD. I have the 12" vinyl but the promo CD is hard to track down and gets expensive on Ebay. > ========================= > Could anybody please tell me tracklistings and (more important) catalog > numbers of the US promo 12" and CD for Porcelain? I would be most thankful! I have the promo 12". Catalog # is V2AB-27650-1A. Funny, side B has the same catalog number except it ends in 1B and the vinyl is EXTREMELY thick, heavy. Tracklist is: Side A 1. Rob Dougan Remix (6:36) 2. Album Version (3:59) Side B 1. Futureshock Remix 2. Futureshock Beats Strangely it doesn't list a time for either of these mixes. Each side has a different little idiot drawing on the label as well, comes in a plain white die cut sleeve. Hope this helped! Wow, I never knew that Moby had a crystal ball that tells him which records will be financial sucesses. If this was the case, perhaps mute should have looked into it before releasing all his previous records. moby has never been a big seller, look on billboard, his record has yet to become gold, as far as I know in the states(500,000 copies) > while i'm in the deep end, i also have problems with his use of large > parts of other people's songs on "play." i doubt that the people who sang > for that old collection had any idea that some inner city white guy would > be making pretty good money and gain fame off their folk songs. > does anyone know if any money is going to their families, if they have > any? All the tracks were taken from a compilation album, so old that I'm sure that all the rights have run out(50 past the death of the oriignal holder). ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Jun 2000 01:45:31 -0500 (CDT) From: Chris Bourke Subject: Re: (mobility) TAKE ME OFF THE LIST Please > This is too much mail for me sorry can I please be removed hmmm...
