I love him and was sad I never saw that tour. I heard a rumour that he and Moby did not get along. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? Also, doesn't Aphex Twin say he's retiring or not touring, (one or the other) every year or two? I would love to see him tour with Moby. Also, I think moby and goldie would be superb. Plastikman would be nice, and Bjork as well. Sarah, I'm surprised you hadn't mentioned that already. Yes, i heard the same rumor about some judge in Latrobe trying to block the concert cause he's worried about all the "large amounts of scary people coming to the fairgrounds" Well, it is still going on as planned. It better be because it will be the highlight of August for me!! Though the bad news is I also heard it was sold out...Also on the lineup is Red Hot Chili Peppers, Filter, Our Lady Peace, Fuel, Marcy Playground and locals like the Clarks... I agree that his punk rock stuff on Animal Rights is amazing.. but Moby himself ignores that era. I am a bit disappointed that when he takes his guitar out at his concerts he doesn't play "Someone To Love" or something that'll really get the crowd going (or not). He plays cover songs and such which are fun (very fun since even the non-hardcore Moby fans can identify with them) but it wouldn't take up that much time to play at least ONE song off of AR!! - --- Daniel Lee wrote: > none of his punk stuff is even represented on this disc. > not only are they cashing in on his v2 success, but they're also > ignoring some of his most amazing music. > > animal rights will never be as appreciated as it should be. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Oh well guys to be more open minded I will go out and get Animal Rights. Personally I was offended when the album came out because I wanted Moby's normal stuff. I sang, "I'm feeling so bad" in my house all the time. I guess if so many other people on the list think it is good then I will shell out the $30 necessary to get it. Yes, Japan is expensive. I still want the Instinct B-sides though. Hey thats funny. I am going back to Japan in the middle to end of July this summer also... But when I lived there, I remember being able to find so manyt CDs. In fact, I don't know of any other place to do CD shoppping than TOKYO. (Used CDs that is. NHew ones are all over 30 bucks...) But I got hooked up last year with CDs. Bought more than a hundred probably. Also fell in love with JPop and mentioned a group called Globe here before, wondering if any of the guys that I talked to ever bought any of their CDs? Oh, I won't be buying that new Elektra Moby CD. It won't add anything to my collection of Moby CDs. Anyway, That's it for now. Later.
