Subject: Re: (mobility) ecstasy update... Even tho Im getting tired of this whole "recreational use" discussion, may I please too, be an exception too? Its getting really hard to find a restaurant that will actually serve me because of my "putrid" smell. As for picking up guys, forget it, one look at my "Leathery" face and its all over (sorry, couldnt help but see the humour) Not that smoking is anything to laugh at. I would LOVE to give up smoking, call me weak, or putrid, I know its bad for me, I know what it does to others, I know what it does to me. Perhaps rather than talk down to my leathery face (am 23, dont have wrinkles yet, but I know theyre a cummin!!) you could give me some advice on how to quit, I really would appreciate it. I also dont think that the gentleman who is glad to have tried what he tried is "Super-shouting-it-from-the-rooftops" proud, thats not how I saw his message at all. I think you misunderstood (or chose to misunderstand) his message. I drink alcohol, tho not excessively, sometimes I get a little silly, but I have a good time. I dont need to drink to have a good time. Ive never tried anything but Marijuana, and I NEVER intend to, for my own reasons. But the fact is that people are going to keep doing it and its their choice. Some users may scoff that your idea of reading a book instead of taking X will keep them dancing until the wee hours of the morning. All I want to say is, Although Ill never try it, People are still going to try it and like it, or, try it and hate it. JUST BE CAREFULL. especially if there is a history of depression or another chemical imbalance in your family. Nuff said. Can we change this topic soon please? How bout we talk about um..... How bout Moby? always wear a clean pair............ boobye >From: Christopher Michael Bourke >Reply-To: mobility@lists.xmission.com >To: >Subject: Re: (mobility) ecstasy update... >Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2000 02:40:02 -0500 > > > It's fine that you "don't understand people's need > > to do so (drugs)", but how can you call it a "filthy > > practice"? Anyone who knows how it's getting on with the collaboration between Moby and Kelis? I read in an interview about Moby's idea for the video... Really funny one! It may also be too soon for asking any details or so since he's on a very intense tour for months further. But anyway... Also, have anyone heard something more about Moby's next album? The one he's working on right now... I can hardly wait... ;) Thanks, Lena For all the latest news and information about AC Milan http://www.milanmania.com Unofficial Fanmail powered by the Soccer Alliance http://www.socceralliance.com - ------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to majordomo@xmission.com with the line "unsubscribe mobility" in the body. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2000 15:07:44 -0400 From: Christine Subject: (mobility) Moby in NY!!! Instinct, the label that was moby's creative home from 1990-1993, released it as Moby's debut album in 1992. Moby declines to call it his first album, preferring instead to call it a compilation of his early singles and bsides. > ANYWAY.. my question stems from the order of > the songs.. > In Europe and other parts of the world, Instinct released the album under the title "Story So Far". There have been a few instances recorded by Mobility where people have bought copies of "Moby" with "Story So Far" cds in the case. Or vice versa. I can't remember exactly. You may have found another of those copies. But without knowing the difference or perceived difference between your cd and liner, I can't say for sure. ===== Bradley S. Any ticket on sale dates? OK I have my Moby road trip all planned. Yes I am a 29 year old professional male taking a week's vacation to follow Moby around on a mini-tour of my own, call me sick I don't care :) This will be a blast, we did it last year when Pet Shop Boys toured the US, 3 shows in 3 days in 3 different cities. People at work probably think I should grow up. That's why they're married with 2-3 kids and bored with their "average American hum drum life". With Moby I'll be doing 4. Already have Chicago tix, Detroit (my hometown) go on sale this Saturday but I can't find any on sale info for Cleveland or Toronto tickets. Any locals from those areas with info on when tix go on sale? Moby is playing the same place in Toronto I saw PSB at, it's nice and intimate so I'm REALLY excited about that show especially. Any help is appreciated!
