Originally it was Moby watching the auditions tapes of all those different guys dancing, but now it's been replaced by the video where Moby puts on someone else's glasses and sees everyone dancing in the street. I kind of liked the old version. Does M2 ever play it anymore? I saw the more recent one this morning on AMP. And just as a note to any radiohead fans on the list, MTV2 will play Kid A at 10 this Monday. Hey folks, I was watching M2 today and at 11-12 they played a whole mess of techno videos! I got "Blue Room" and "Around The World" on tape, both of which I hadn't seen since MTV showed AMP years ago! So I went to the M2 site (to see about the new Radiohead album, which they will be broadcasting Monday at 10 PM and Tuesday at BOTH 11:00's!!!!!! ROCK!!!!!!!!) Anyway, at 11 AM Saturday, M2 plays AMP for an hour. Of course, the videos they played were all horribly mainstream techno: "Blue Room", "Bodyrock", "Around The World" (which I hadnt seen in a while and had to tape and giggle along to;), Underworld, Bjork.... I mean, there's nothing wrong with these, except they're all OLD, and all stuff anybody who listens to rock radio might recognize... well thats a little stretch, but come on, CRYSTAL METHOD!?!?!? PROPELLORHEADS????! please. Oh well. So that's how America treats electronic music, anyway. Hope you Brits know how lucky you are with "Play" spending many weeks atop the charts. For us, it's taken great pains to stall at #45. And anyone seen the new CMJ? Roni Size is on the cover!!! Altho judging by the interview and the song on the disc, he's going for a more BET type sound. And the beats to the new single are not that much dnb either. They'd fit perfectly next to DMX really. Photek's new one sounds interesting tho. The song on the disc sounds like Portishead, and theres supposed to be all sorts of stuff on the new album, everything from garage to jungle to trip hop to house etc. So I'm curious... Yeah Whatever, DJ PAUL ===== "I ain't the cat y'all saw yesterday, att least I mean by tomorrow I won't be anyway, whole new ball game whole new day....GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!"
