I do not think that he was criticizing Moby. He was merely stating that he was the one that won the auction. I believe earlier on ... when the ebay auction ended, he wrote and said that he had won the auction and stuff. He wasn't claiming moby or anything. I think he even said something about eventually returning the items or whatever back to moby. Maybe I'm all wrong and shouldn't stick up for him but I don't think he was meaning to put moby down in any way. I understand if you're upset that there are people out there saying this stuff. I persionally am disappointed that people have stooped to such a level to label moby as a "sell out" -- but hey.. everyone has their right to give an opinion. All we can do is disagree and try to show them how they just might be wrong!!! Ok. enough of my peace talk... I just don't like people to be unhappy. I hope this helped clear up some confusion. To me, it sounds pretty much identical to the original version, excepting Kelis' new vocals (which add a great new element to the song, even if the lyrics aren't that deep), and a new drum machine track, which is borderline annoying. They are like two sides of the same coin musically. Where moby has a tendency to be raw and understated in his music, bt is polished and dramatic. Where Moby has animal grace, bt has machine soul. They are very complimentary musically. Bt's new cd "Movement in Still life" is excellent, though not as progressive and far reaching as Play. But the mixed UK version of the cd demonstrates a musical singularity that again, is the opposite and complement to Play's diversity. Highly recommended. ===== Bradley S.
