When I met him last year, he seemed to be about 5'2" (while I'm 5'6"). I'm
thinking he should've looked about as tall as Jay Lano (who is also pretty
short!).
And Christmas albums/songs usually seem a bit phony/stereotypical & gimmicky
(with the exception of Tori Amos' heart-breaking & lonesome song "Christmas
in Space"). But if anyone could make a genuine holliday album, I'm sure Moby
could pull it off... like "The Rain Falls And The Sky Shudders" always felt
like a good winter night song.

Cool! I can't wait to try it. I disagree with their sellout nonsense, but
giving Moby a big smack might be fun. How's that for a Christmas present?
Matt, when I used to write informative stuff on a daily basis, I was ignored
as well. I didn't go clogging the list up with my used anal swabs instead
for attention. Thank you.

I guess if you took every post I ever did and added up

nothing wrong with posting a little comic relief thing

I just think some things like this are kind of funny

So, how tall is our man Moby anyways? On Leno he looked about 4'3". But what I was really wondering, wouldn't it be great if Moby did some sort of a Christmas album? "Carol of the Bells, Big City Heat Mix" or something, or a quiet orchestral version of Silent Night... A Moby Christmas album would be fun, fun, fun.

If you're an animal rights activist... 'gorillas in the mist' is a great book
and movie by dian fossey. she started a sanctuary for gorillas in the
virunga mountains on the border of people's republic of congo(formerly zaire)
and rwanda. This was around te 60s and 70s. it's amazing because she had a
close relationship with many of the gorillas that she studied and she had a
little animal 'community' consisting of a koala bear, dog, and cattle. what
is sad is that there were many poachers in the area that were early
inhabitants of the area who made a lot of money for trapping the
gorillas...they sold the hands, feet, heads, etc.

This came out last year & we talked about it some.
But I was listening to it today, and even though it's terribly simple & a bit
staccato on Moby's part at first, it gets better & more melancholy.
Strangely it gets me in the holliday spirit.
The name of it is "Listen to the Angels" from last year's KROQ CD "Kevin &
Bean's Last Christmas 1999" (cause the world was supposed to end with Y2K &
all).
But I also saw in on Napster.
Linda Polley (who is that?) does the vocals & she's supposed to be channeling
John Lennon (really, not making it up) which means she sings extremely
nasaly: "Listhen to the angol when you pray on Christmas Eee"... and so on...
Enjoy...

I have the same remix as you. I don't believe it's Moby. It doesn't have
the "feel" and I didn't see it anywhere in the discography.
That's so funny that you mentioned Listen to the Angels. I just dug up that

beat and the rush in the backround...*sigh*
