There were 3 copies, I shoulda got em all and sold em on ebay ;P But I was kinda broke. Wait, no I wasnt! My mom bought me 1 copy but I coulda bought the other 2 at least, it only woulda cost like 5 bucks for both of them.... and at the band's house, they had the 3AM Eternal cassette single, I asked if they had any vinyl by them, and all they had was Justified Ancient 12", and he said he hadnt listened to it..... I also asked if he had any Half Japanese, and he said he didnt, but he saw them live opening for NIRVANA a few months before Kurt died, but he was just so excited to see Nirvana that he didnt remember anything about 1/2 Jap.... I dont blame him either! I miss Nirvana..................... OK this has turned into one of my patended rambles where you all look at me funny afterwards. I got the southside single (the real one) and I like it, ( the Hybrid Dishing Pump Remix remix is  good house, and the Peter Heller Park Lane Vocal remix has a really trancey feel; both are well done) except for track #5, it's called "Ain't Never Learned". I honestly wonder if Moby composed this song or not. It's crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!  It's like the "Thousand" of Play. If you want to hear a sample, got to http://cdnow.com

Just a thought.

So anyway, I believe that the conversation is true and I don't agree with what Moby said about his half brother. I asked a totally unbiased party of mine about that and she said that he shouldn't care too much because true family are people you are with on a day to day basis. But I'm not sure. I guess right now I don't know what to think. I guess it's a contraversial subject and my head is hurting talking about it... ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! I'm with you on this one Pagan. I LOVED "Temperamental" and still do, one of my favorite CD's of last year and I still break it out often for long road trips. One of those CD's I can listen to from beginning to end. I think Tracey's voice over electronic music is pure heaven and that's why I loved this CD so much. As I do her work with Adam F and Massive Attack. If any of you remember me, you should anyway, I'm one of the longest mobility subscribers, along with paul and some others. Anyway, I'm back from by 4 month study abroad trip to japan. Can't say that moby was all that popular, infact no one I talked to had ever heard of him. Though they did have some of his CDs for sale in the big chain stores, WAY to much money though. I also took a side trip to malasyia where I bought the double play CD set with all the B-sides on it for about $12 US, I thought it was a steal. They also had Moby Songs and the regular Play CD in all of the corner pirate markets, especially china town. Though they had faded album covers and horible CD print art. Good to see that the pirates think he is popular as everyone of them had it available. Any questions, go ahead and ask. My FTP may be back up in a few weeks when I move back into my dorm, so please wait on that one too. Oh yeah, when I went to japan I forgot my password to my email that I use for mobility. as a result, you guys have written me 2197 messages over the last 4 months. Thanks alot :) Actually I just erased all of them, but I did notice we have a lot of the old crap going on which means we also have a lot of NEWBIES. Yea! Actually its interesting to note, if you tell people (at least recently) that you are a moby fan they will say, YEAH, ME TOO, LIKE I HAVE PLAY YOU KNOW, THAT IS THE COOLEST ALBUM, COOOOOL, I LOVE MOBY TOOOO! I met a girl from michigan in japan, though she wasn't like the above fan, she only casually knew him, so I showed her all my CDs and told her that most of my experiences with other people about moby are like the one above. The next day she was talking to her boyfriend on the phone and she mentioned that I liked moby. Wouldn't you know it, his reaction was the exact same as I described to her the previous day. Does anyone else get this crap too? - ------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to majordomo@xmission.com with the line "unsubscribe mobility" in the body. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Dec 2000 14:08:48 -0800 From: "Matt Olson" Subject: Re: (mobility) I'm back boys... >Actually its interesting to note, if you tell people (at least recently) >that you are a moby fan they will say, YEAH, ME TOO, LIKE I HAVE PLAY YOU >KNOW, THAT IS THE COOLEST ALBUM, COOOOOL, I LOVE MOBY TOOOO!
