Is Thousand still the world record holder for fastest beats in a song? I'm sure there has been more in others. If he isn't, who holds that record? 4. Has Moby got the record for most amount of singles from an album? I know it used to be Janet Jackson many moons ago when she had 6 from one album (I don't think Honey with Kelis would count as in effect it is a reissue of a previous single! Southside would if it gets an release in the UK) 5. Is Moby really playing in Soctland for New Year's Eve night?? How unfair that is. Never mind, I;m seeing Orbital and Leftfield instead! 6. Welcome back, Chris.

I just pretend I've never heard of Moby. Lots easier than explaining.

People have to discover artists sometime and somehow! Back when Animal Rights came out, and people just got into Moby then, did you consider that to be a problem too? sometime and somehow, yes, and if they actually made somesort of an effort to discover that moby actually has other albums, MANY other albums infact then there WOULDN"T be a problem. The problem however lies that it seems to be so easy to be a moby fan, wow I bought play, or as most of these same type of people are likely to do, downloaded it from napster. I always think to myself about these people, kudos buddy, your a real fan, keep up the mediocre work there! Screw them until they mature a little more in their moby fandom. Perhaps I should inform them that there are a plethera of other areas to moby, but I honestly don't think I could do so without coming off as arrogant or a stalker, so I don't. I only discovered Moby when Play came out. I was working in a CD store at the time, my manager handed it to me and said I'd like it.  Odd,  I was listening to RHCP and 311 and other bands such as that. Play changed all of that, I think I own 22(?) of his CD's now. When the b-sides came out, everyone at the CD store made bets when I'd come get it.  So I don't mind the "Play" fans at all, some of them will endure.

Subject: (mobility) Why can't we all just.......... get along? (tee hee) I would personally have to agree with most points that Matt has brought up. I also agree that yes, its sometimes sad to see certain people jump on the Moby bandwagon because they think his music is really "neat" or that hes just such a babe, I love him I love him". But I really dont think that there is anybody like that on this list, and if they came along and started posting messages such as "I am like, the like, biggest fan y'now, oooh and I love brittany too" (heh heh) that they wouldnt last very long in here! I just think its sad that some people (and before you go thinking, "shes aiming that straight at me, so Im gonna come up with a really good retort") Im not aiming this at ANYONE, its just real sad that some people have the attitude on this list that because they have been on this list for a long-time, or they have the complete works of Moby (that was a joke too) THat they should recieve 5 extra gold stars for that pure fact. I have only been on this list for about seven months, and no I dont just own play!!! I adore Animal Rights & E.I.W. Why dont some people who have been on this list for yonks help the play-only fans to widen their knowledge of Moby, his music, religious beliefs etc, rather than than go "heres another one jumping on the band-wagon." I would love to have been on a list ages ago.......... If id had a computor then (slow purchaser) And yes, it took me a while to discover Moby, but I listen as much as I can/want, read all about him, and most importantly, subscribe to this list. I really enjoy being on this list, and even tho we dont all agree at times (wouldnt really be the same then would it?) I still turn my computor on, just to see how its goin' and who's got a great opinion on something. Sure Id get sick of someone that dont look deeper than just dancing round to "bodyrock" but at the same time Im sick of some of the attitudes, Its almost like they wish they could choose who is on this list and who can fuck off!!! I personally dont give a rats ass who's on this list, some of the guys here are just fantastic (no names cos I'll miss someone) But dont make someone who is just learning feel bad about that..... If you dont like their post..... Just roll your eyes and move on!!! :) Anywho.......... Merry Xmas!! (weve had ours already!! it the 26th over here!!! PS. WHat do some of you think MOBY thinks about some of the opinions some have about "newbies" on this list?
