They charge those prices because they know people will pay. Madonna is not going to lower the price of her tickets on her own--we will. If we grumble about having tp pay such high prices, than we sould do something. It may seem radical, but the only way I could see this getting accomplished is through a boycott of bands and artists who charge insanely high prices. Anyone remember the $300 tix for a Rolling Stones show? Honestly, do those 60-year-olds need all that money? No, but tons of people paid anyway.
