I may be mistaken but isn't Pokemon Yellow a GBC title? It says so on the box. Suggestions, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. It's not a true port of the original Super Mario Bros., some of the lesser know stuff is gone (negative world, little Mario with fireballs) but the extras do make up for it's shortcomings, such as a complete version of Super Mario Bros. 2 (Lost Levels) on the cart and the Vs game, perhaps I should say two player battle since "Vs." makes one think of the original "Vs. Super Mario Bros." arcade game. Sad to say it doesn't include that. But still one of the best GBC titles. Zelda is good too, unless you have it in B&W. Then there's no real point in getting it. Tetris DX.. steer clear of Tetris DX. The original B&W Tetris plays so much better. Wario Land 2 Color is good, unless you already have the B&W version. When the Pokemon games were first released in Japan, there were two versions, Red and Green. Later on, Blue was released. Blue is the exact same game as Green, except with a Blastoise on the box instead of a Venusaur. When the games were brought to the US, only the Red and Blue versions were translated, since apparently the Blue sold better than Green in Japan. - -----Original Message----- From: TreyTable@aol.com To: n64@lists.xmission.com Date: Sunday, December 12, 1999 11:09 PM Subject: Re: [N64] Pokemon colors >In a message dated 99-12-12 22:22:54 EST, you write: > >> Pokemon Yellow is definitely not a GBC-only game, but I thought Gold and >> Silver are supposed to be? > >Hey Pokemaniacs, can you explain to me the whole Pokemon Green/Blue deal? > >Dave [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 12 Dec 1999 20:45:44 -0800 From: Charles Baynes Subject: Re: [N64] Mega Man TreyTable@aol.com wrote: > In a message dated 99-12-12 21:33:17 EST, you write: > > > i still like em > > though. as far as 1 through five, i thought they were already out on gb. > > Yeah, but that was of the Mega Man Game Boy series, they weren't the same as > the NES games. > > Dave yeah, they had the bosses all out of order(2 bosses in 3 etc.) > > [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] > [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] > --Pika25chu-- ______________________________________________________ Get your free web-based email at http://www.xoom.com Birthday? The announcement that Square isn't bringing Chrono > Trigger to the PSX in America can only further your speculation. What's their excuse this time? There's a bug in the game which automatically self destructs when it is translated? (yes, i'm _really_ behind =) Let's see, i've got a PC, a N64, and a PSX (well, and lots of older stuff.) Currently sitting around waiting to be finished, or in many cases, even opened and palyed at all, are Tales of Destiny, Azure Dreams, Shadow Madness, Legend of Legaia, Lunar, F-zero X, Zelda TOOT, Age of Empires 2, Civ Call to Power, Command and Conquer, and Red Alert. Plus prubably a few more things i'm forgetting about. And i'll probably be getting several more games for christmas, and several more using my EA discount. I am _so_ incredibly far behind in playing games, and getting farther behind all the time. (And this doesn't even mention all the books i've got to read, anime i've got to watch, and email to reply to =) - -------------------------------------------------------------- Where would you rather be?
