Particularly in Japan. They need to lower the costs if they want the other companies to support them. I will still buy Dolphin as I really don't have much interest in Sony. All this delay means to me is Nintendo may be planning to up the stakes and offer a much more powerful games station in conjunction with a possibly more powerful GBadvanced. I'm sure myself and Trey aren't the only games connoisseurs on this list and if that is the case there are probably millions of games players out there who are multisystem already and intend to stay that way until such a time as there is only one games system available ( and that isn't likely for another 10- 20 years). Dave The SEGA Dreamcast will indeed cure your acne. It will make you popular with the opposite sex, bring you material rewards beyond your wildest dreams and, most likely, cause passersby to pull out their wallets and hand you $5. The Dreamcast will mow the lawn for you, provide heat in the winter, cool fresh breezes in the summer and can be used, in case of emergency, as a flotation device. Also, the Dreamcast gives off a lemony-fresh scent and will one day unite all humanity under the gleaming banner of peace. You need not ever fear stubbing your toe again with the SEGA Dreamcast. -- Daily Radar [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2000 18:44:32 +0000 (GMT) From: Chris Watson Subject: Re: [N64] Dolphin News from IGN It could even be sony giving out disimformation to atract attention away from Nintendo and back to their own Machine. You know I never thought it was coming out in 2000. But now that it has been officially confirmed by Nintendo, those who help hope have to see the light. The ways things are now, the Dolphin is already heading down the N64 path of mediocrity. Nintendo seems to be stubborn I say this as an outsider but looking at the actions that they take they seem stubborn and slow to change. I would be surprised(pleasantly) if Dolphin sells more than PS2 but I doubt it. Nintendo can stay in the race and not lag behind Sega(a definite possibility) by lowering licensing fees: the Dolphin is already developer friendly so that's settled but the L fees could go down too, also Nintendo needs to make the system attractive to older gamers.
