If you hook your N64 to your TV using Either the RF switch or the other and have cable, you just have to keep you TV on channel 3, and set you VCR to L1(line 1) so it will record what ever is on the TV. At least, that's how you do it for my TV and VCR. But I've changed things around so my N64 is hooked up to the Master Volume thingy(the box where you can switch between CDs, Video1, video 2, Tapes, and laser discs and be able to change the base and stuff). I hooked it up that way so I would have surround sound(can't do SS with my TV because it is kind of OLD). When recording a game, the playback quality isn't that good unless you put it on SP. I've only tried it once to see if it would work but other than that, I see no use for it at all unless you want to record something(maybe a how to obtain a cheat in goldeneye or how to beat a boss) and give to someone who needs help. I don't know why, but, well, I just don't know. When I bought GE007 I was really addicted, I kept playing the game again and again, but after I played this game for a half an our, and finished a couple of levels, I stopped and let my brother play. It's not really addicting, for me, it isn't a game that you keep playing after and after. of course I played it again and the game sure is ok, but it isn't a topper. why? I don't know. The levels are cool, I think Rare did a very nice job here, and also the music is one of the bests I ever heard. Also bombing the dinosaur in the very first level and the frog screeming when he gets heart (you know one of the characters) I think is very cool, a little like Kermit the frog, but this game misses something. multiplayer sure is ok, kleinemans (also on this list) warned me not to buy this game because the multiplayer some kind of sucked, I didn't listen to him and did buy the game, and one thing I do like is the multiplayer especial the 2 player adventure is real cool. The fact that you can race in 3 vehicles is really a pro, doing a ground attack with 10 missles from your plain to a car or a hocer is even cooler. (do you guys also prefer a homing missle in multiplayer in stead of 10 normal missles?) someone mentioned this game being too childisch, I don't know if that's what I mean. We were playing multi player for a while, but I didn't like it, because I couldn't find my buddy, because all those computer controlled cars were in the way. I had some problems with the control too. Playing 2 player adventure is very neat, that's true. I had the same feeling playing solo. It's like, well, your basicly playing a racer, but it's presented as if it's an adventure game. There wasn't really a race element, because you finished first, or you lost. No competition or anything. I didn't play the game long enough to really say something about it though. The way you have to do the anal penetration of rockets with bosses is really cool indeed. I think my problem with this game was that it wasn't giving me the thrill of a racer, and it wasn't really getting me as hooked as mario 64, or any other action game for that matter.
