See, Eric? No worries. Most of this stuff is, as I suspected, nothing terribly new. I'm confused as to why Luigi's Mansion is on there, as that game has been repeatedly dubbed a demo by various sources. Sonic Adventure is listed, which is again, as I suspected (the target demographic is similar to Mario's, the Sonic game being developed for the GBA, and Sonic Team pledging support for GameCube). It's also encouraging to see Harvest Moon, Legend of the River King, FIFA, and ISS return as those are all great lesser franchises that helped make the N64 (save for River King) a more well rounded console. And it's always good to see Namco back on track...Ridge Racer 64, although developed by NST, was awesome. Of course, that's presuming all this is accurate -- which I imagine it is for the most part. All that matters is that it plays well. A 4 player, (or possibly multi player on-line fighter) in a full 3-D arena is a very interesting concept that could pay dividends for Nintendo. Afterall, before Smash Brothers, very few people thought a four player fighter would be anygood. The industry had, up to that point, been fixated on variations of the 2 players fighter format. - -- Dexter S.
